York Town Clock
An oversized stop watch that once hung in a shop window inspired us to create this bold yet whimsical clock, with its unusual white-on-black face, Arabic numerals and spade hands. 28.5" wide x 3" deep x 40" high Made of MDF with a black painted finish. Quartz movement. Silk-screened paper face, aluminum hands and a glass front. Requires one AA battery (not included). Mounting hardware included.

Beautiful clock, didn't work for me :(

I bought this clock over the summer and didn't put it up until October when we bought our house. It looked fantastic, seemed sturdy, but unfortunately stopped working soon after I hung it up. Pottery Barn was wonderful and helpful. They sent another, and I boxed my not working clock up and UPS came to pick it up. No hassle what-so-ever. I got the new clock and it worked for about a week...and then it too stopped working. I am SOOO upset. I really hope that they can work out the bug, whatever it is because it's a beautiful clock.

Living room clock

This clock looks great in my living room. I have high ceilings and a clock of this size looks great on the wall of this high ceiling room. I have got numerous comments from friends and family that just love the clock.

Beautiful Statement Piece - Clock

This clock looks just as wonderful in person as it does in the photo. It is a very large clock and a great statement piece in any room. We hung ours over the TV. The clock is very heavy and you do have to use pretty large anchors to hang it, so be sure you know just where you want it before you begin. One that that is so handy, Pottery Barn includes a template for you to hold up to the wall for placement, it makes it so much easier than holding up such a heavy clock. I love the clock and am thrilled with our purchase.

Nice over-sized wall clock

Love this clock. Also, I did not attach the top portion which makes the clock look like an over-sized pocket watch. Now it looks like a clock you'd see at a town center. I think it looks so much better without the top attachment.

I saw this clock in our local PB store and fell in love with it! By the time I was able to put aside enough money to purchase it my store no longer carried it and it was on back order. It was well worth the wait, we had no trouble with mold or unpleasant odors and my husband was able to hang it easily using the template. We have had it a month now and it seems to be working just fine. It is a nice accent on the wall behind our pellet stove and family and friends love it as well. I had to contact customer service a few times for updates on the back order status and was very pleased with my experience.

Hands get Stuck

I have replaced this clock twice and now returning it again
to find something new. The hands get stuck and it stops working. It will work for a day or so and then stop working. The store said I am not the first to have this problem. Too bad since it is such a pretty clock. Sounds like an issue with the manufacturer.

It wasn't until after I ordered this clock that I read the reviews which seem to be mostly negative. I ordered in April and just received it (June 19) as it was on back order. I was worried due to the past comments, but I found the clock to be gorgeous and had no problems with any mold or smell. Since many of the reviews stated that the diagram included for hanging did not work we decided not to use it. I found it actually very easy to hang and I'm not sure why anyone would have had any problems - just measure and hang like you would with any frame. It has added so much character to our kitchen and I highly recommend it!

I returned the clock because it arrived with mold and it smelled too strongly like stain to keep. very disappointed.

Don't use template!

It's a great looking wall accessory but DO NOT use the template provided to hang it. Like other reviews, my wall now has unnecessary holes in the drywall due to the misinformation provided by the pottery barn template. I wish Pottery Barn would address this issue.
My entire home is decorated in Pottery Barn and this was a major disappointment. (although, it mechanically works fine)

The template for hanging the clock is wrong and I now have two extra holes in my wall. It weighs a ton and is not easy to hang. Once I did get it hung it stopped working and I realized the hands were getting stuck. After unscrewing about 20 small screws from the back to unstick the hands I hung it again and it stopped again a few hours later. I have no idea why. I would absolutely not recommend it. To return it will be a real pain. Very poor quality and extremely disappointed.
