Napoleon(R) Barstool
Part of our popular Napoleon Collection designed in 1991, skilled artisans craft each of our barstools from solid hardwood. The rush seat is woven by hand onto its frame. Medium Barstool has a 26" high seat; Tall Barstool has a 30" high seat. Crafted of solid hardwood. Stained, sanded and glazed by hand. Wood swatches are available for $25 each. We will provide a merchandise refund for wood swatches if they're returned within 30 days. Barstool is sized for use with our small PB Classic Dining Cushion. Cute but not comfortable

We don't have a Pottery Barn in HI so I went to Phoenix to test drive these chairs. They only had the dining chairs and they were fairly comfortable so I ordered the counter stools, 3 of them, and paid the expensive shipping out here. They arrived in about 4 days, but the decision to send them back was immediate and unanimous...these chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Since we sit at the kitchen counter more than the table, I reluctantly repacked them and paid to have them shipped back. They were so cute, but even I hated sitting on them. I don't recommend them if you are looking for comfort.

These are nicer than I expected.The finish was a warm brown..and not red like a lot of other finishes.They are comfortable and look nice at our island.

I have been admiring these barstools for sometime and finally purchased them. They are very sturdy, well made, just the right size and well worth the money. I absolultely love them, they go perfectly in my kitchen that is accented in black. Wish I had bought them earlier. Thanks Pottery Barn.

The three Napoleon bar stools we ordered arrived in perfect condition, thanks to the way the stools were packed each in their own carton. It was like we had walked out of the factory with the stools in our hands! Well done.
We love the styling and quality of the stools...worth every penny!

Great counter-height stool!

I ordered 6 of these stools to be used around my island, which is our main eating area in the kitchen. The stools are comfortable and sturdy; very well made. Best of all, they shipped quickly and were packed very well.

I cant boast enough about how great pottery barn shipped my stools. they were carefully packaged to give them the most care for delivery. I couldnt be happier - and they were assembled which was great. Very sturdy, comfortable and classy looking!

Purchased 4 of these barstools which were delivered on Christmas Eve. No assembly required - solid, well built furniture. Great quality, looks great in my kitchen, and has held up well to adults of all sizes and small children. Love this item!

Ordered my bar stools in espesso, I just love the finish and so easy to clean just dry dust or damp dust, no cleaning product needed. The woven seat is a little more golden orange than it looks in the photos. I did order cushions to protect the seats from any damage. The combonation looks great. Classic and stylish.

Paint not holding up well

We bought two stools with backs to match two stools without backs that we had purchased 18 months previously. We have now had them for almost 6 months and the paint (black) is chipping off in numerous places. Our original stools still look perfect and have no chips. I wonder if Pottery Barn changed the paint and it is now of inferior quality. Otherwise, they are fine, but I would caution anyone who is considering buying these to consider this paint issue. The stained ones are probably fine.
