Morena Suzani Embroidered Duvet & Shams
The embroidered textiles called suzani are traditionally created by brides for their trousseaus and passed down from generation to generation. Inspired by those handcrafted treasures, our bedding is stitched from end to end with bright blooms and leafy vines on soft, white cotton. Woven of pure cotton. Yarn dyed for vibrant, lasting color. Duvet cover and sham reverse to solid Ivory. Duvet cover has a hidden button closure and interior ties; sham has an envelope closure. Duvet cover, sham and insert sold separately. Machine wash. Imported.

Wonderful fabric and embroidery

I purchased two shams to lighten and liven up my dark brown quilt and ivory sheets. The embroidery is well done; it launders well and fabric is of good quality. The design is just what I wanted, folk-artsy.

Beautiful but fragile...

I recently bought this duvet and shams and love the way they look (ivory, not white like some pictures show) and feel but I'm concerned that the delicate embroidery isn't going to hold up to washing and wear & tear. I've always been able to count on Pottery Barn bedding to stand the test of time, however, this time around I'm concerned that I may be replacing this bedding sooner rather than later.

Color not as pictured

Was really looking forward to receiving this duvet cover. Unfortunately it is not white or soft as in the description. It is a tea-stained tan with the red and orange colors so close you can't see the pattern. The material is heavy almost canvas like. It looks like an antique blanket. The pattern is very well placed, better quality than most others available, but the color is way off

Just got my order and it is gorgeous! Love love love it. I also did a bit of price checking before ordering and with the sale it was a great bargin for Morena Suzani pieces. Cannot wait to set it up at home.
