Our Modular Bar System is a stylish alternative to built-in cabinetry. 72" wide x 13.5" deep x 36" high Expertly crafted with a solid mahogany frame. Finished by hand using our exclusive layering technique for exceptional depth of color. Includes 2 cabinet bases and 2 wine-grid bases. Top hutch is available in 2 styles: a shelf with a wineglass rack or a 28-bottle wine grid. Each wine-grid base holds 24 bottles. Each cabinet base has an adjustable shelf. My only complain about this piece is that I received cabinets with door handles that were both on the same side. When you look at the picture online there is clearly a left cabinet and right cabinet. I received 2 right cabinets. While the piece is still beautiful it feels a bit off balance to me because of this.

Finish chipping

I bought this a few years ago and loved it. At first. Now the finish on the cabinet doors is cracking and chipping. It's very noticeable, and I'm disappointed. I came to the site today to find out about warranty information. Hope there is a remedy. Originally I'd've rated it higher, but this type of wear does not happen to quality pieces.

We got the 4 part bar in black and it looks amazing! It was shipped extremely fast and was pretty easy to put together, had some leveling issues, but weren't too tricky after playing with it a little. The height goes well with our bar height dining set and the storage space is amazing! I am so glad we didn't go with an imitation from another retailer - this was definitely worth the cost - looks great and we'll have it for decades.

Beware, this is "modular" and can only be strapped together on the back meaning, unless your floor is perfect (RE. watch out for tile) there will probably be a noticeable gap between the back and the front. I would have to figure out how to partially disasemble each piece and permanently tie the modules together at the front.
One of the two we opened also had a finish flaw on the top.
We purchased 4 'bottoms' opened 2 and discovered the problem. Fortuately, PB stands behind the roduct and will refund everything ... including shipping.
This same product used to be sold by another (similar) retailer.

We were really looking forward to this ... it would work on a hardwood floor, otherwise to be avoided.

I absolutely love the bar buffet with the wine grid. It fits perfectly on our wall and it came already put together. All we had to do was change the direction of one of the doors and hook them together. It's excellent quality and was definitely worth the money. I've wanted this piece of furniture for so long and I'm so happy we finally go it!

Great but unenven

Great quality product and very well built. My only gripe with it is that of the four pieces I got, one was not straight (as in rectangular looking down). This creates uneven gaps between the pieces when placed next to each other. The width of the gap between two pieces is small in the front but larger in the back. Adjustments cannot fix this since the unit itself is not built straight.
To be fair, its not noticeable unless you look close. We dont bother putting a runner because the gaps are not a deal breaker and the unit still looks great.

Great for our space

The wine bar is a perfect addition to our open floor plan dining room. It's "skinny" enough to fit in the space but "bold" enough for the look of our dining room. Wish the 4 pieces fit a little more flush together but it may also be that our floor isn't perfectly even. I bought a table runner (90') from Pottery Barn that fits well (hangs a little from the back) but it helps make it look like one cohesive unit. Love it!

We really love this; fits perfectly in our dining room and all our friends ask where we bought that!!
I recomend if you don't have enough space, like us (we live in a condo) so it is perfectly to put our wine bottles in and glasses!!!

I really love the look of the pieces. They are classy and elegant and are great for a room where you need pieces with a narrower depth. I wish the top were all one piece or fit a little tighter to make it look more like one unit but I think with a solid board or mirror will help that. Very pleased though.

We are very happy with this set. It looks classy and strong. The size is perfect in our dining room. The quality is very good. We need to adjust the level of each cabinet, but it was not a problem. We bought a 72 inches runner putting on the top of the buffet to cover up the gaps and protect the wood.
The customer service is very good also. We enjoyed looking at this buffet everyday. We still need 12 bottles of wine to fill up the holes.

My husband and I were looking for a wine cabinet and ended up buying this. It came in 4 separate boxes and was packaged really well. We both love it, especially with how many bottles of wine it can hold!

I bought the four unit modular bar and the delivery was prompt. Pieces are nicely made, but they do not sit together as tightly as they appear in the picture, there is definitely a slight gap between each piece which really shows looking down on the top. We're going to have a single piece of wood made to go across the top to correct this.
However, it fits the bill for a long narrow space, really hugs the wall. We have this in our dining room as a buffet, with the large Pottery Barn Eagan mirror over it. Beautiful!

We started out ordering 2 wine bases and 1 cabinet; liked it so much we ordered a second cabinet. We have the cabinets in the center and the wine bases on the ends...it looks great in our dining room. We did receive one wine base that had defects; one call to pb and a replacement was sent out immediately. Great customer service.
