A refreshing change from wall-mounted towel bars, our substantial Mercer Towel Stand was inspired by similar versions in luxury hotels. 31.5" wide x 13" deep x 34" high Crafted of drop-forged brass, then thickly plated for strength. Finished in polished nickel, then sealed with a clear protective lacquer. Catalog / Internet Only. Simple assembly.

Beautiful and sturdy

This towel stand is perfect if you don't want to mar your walls and want something that will hold multiple towels and is heavy enough not to tip over. It was pretty easy to put together but the instructions were just plain WRONG. Throw them away and just use your common sense.

Wide Towel Stand

My remodelled bathroom doesn't have the wall space for towel bars so I started looking for towel stands. This is the widest towel stand I found. It has the width to hang two towels side-by-side when folded in half lengthwise, which was an important feature for me. This towel stand also has a nice weight, so it feels sturdy and stable. The assembly was very easy. If this stand had been available in a satin nickel finish, like the Mercer towel bars, I would have rated it 5 stars. All my other bathroom fixtures are satin nickel. The towel stand's polished nickel finish coordinates acceptably, but I really would have preferred satin nickel.

I love the towel stand! It came very quickly. My only complaint is that Pottery Barn doesn't have coupons often enough!!!!

Handy towel rack

We built a new master bathroom that came out beautifully. It has a glass door shower and we were always hanging the towels on the glass doors which drove me crazy. This pottery barn towel stand matches everything we have and easily holds 3 large bath towels and keeps them off of our beatiful glass shower doors! It was easy to assemble, requiring no tools and is lightweight making it easy to move around. Love it!

We purchased this for our condominium in Florida where we always need extra towel bars. It is heavy, attractive, and holds plenty of towels. It can even be placed in the shower to hold dripping wet bathing suits! Glad we ordered it.
