I have one already where the shelf had nice etched design but this shelf does not even though some online images show this still. I hope PB will read this and send me the glass shelf with the etched design...just the glass part

Great look in small bathroom

I love the way these shelves look in my 1/2 bath. I settled for them though after returning them once (I bought2). The reason I returned them is they are not as pictured on the website. The pict shows grooves in the glass, which I really liked. However they don't have any grooves. When I called regarding this the phone rep suggested ordering again in case it was a fluke. It wasn't a fluke; they must all be without grooves. I'm still pleased with their look, tho!

Just one flaw

The top surface of this shelf has protruding metal bolt heads so it is not perfectly even -- a problem if you plan to put bottles or a box of tissue in the area around the bolt heads. Whatever you put on the shelf in those areas will sit lopsided.

I bought three of these shelves and hung them vertically over the commode in my master bath. They are so classy and so well made! The glass is thick and heavy and they were carefully wrapped and packed for shipping. These shelves have added something special to my bathroom -- not just another picture hanging on the wall. So glad I found them in a Pottery Barn catalog.

Completely Coordinated My Bathroom

I got this shelf to match a pair of candle sconces in the same style that I purchased years ago through Pottery Barn...I always wanted this shelf to complete the look over my soaking tub and it is perfect--really beautiful (although there are no etched lines in the glass as shown in the photo, I prefer it plain). I am very happy with this purchase!

Well-made, but note grooves/etching

This is a well-made shelf, though I didn't notice in the photos/description that it has deep, etched grooves about an inch in, all around its circumference. It's fine, but a little different in style than the Sussex, which is a little cleaner without the etching.

Installed two Mercer Glass Shelves on 2/11/11. They look great! It took both my husband & I to do this. Installation went better than we expected. The Allen screws were a little difficult to work with.

Great bathroom shelf

My husband and I recently purchased the mercer glass shelf, along with several other mercer accessories, to update our bathroom. We shopped around and felt that the mercer glass shelf had nice style, good quality and a good price. My husband installed the shelf last weekend and we couldn't be happier! It looks beautiful in our bathroom. My husband also commented that the installation was not too bad. He appreciated that it came with the needed anchors so all he needed was a drill and a screwdriver from our tool collection.
I highly recommend this product!

Purchased two of these shelves in the satin nickel finish, along with several other matching Mercer accesories. I am very pleased with all of them, but I especially like the glass shelf for its simplicity and functionality. We were using it in an extremely small bathroom and did not want to hang a heavy-looking cabinet on the wall, yet needed a place to put things--so two of these shelves seemed to fit the bill quite nicely. I am very pleased with the quality of this item.
