After puchasing several light fixtures for the small powder room and returning them because of VERY low quality(from the large home improvement stores), I ordered this(in polished chrome)! It is beautiful, classic, very well made, and has a great weight to it. With the stress of remodeling its nice to have one less thing to worry about and ordering this light has helped out so much. You will be so pleased with it if your thinking of ordering one too!

Just received this sconce. Love it. The quality of construction is superb, very good weight. The polished nickel is beautiful and not as brassy as some I've seen, just a little warmer than polished chrome. Can't wait to have it installed. I just love all the items I have purchased from Pottery Barn - keep up the good work!

I really like this product. For the price point, you probably can't get a nicer light. It's not very bright, but we bought two -- one for each sink and it's lovely. It takes off about ten years from your face when you have one of these over your mirror. In the morning, that's a nice thing to wake up to! Thanks PB.

I purchased the polished nickel double sconce, paper holder and towel ring for a very small, bluish-grey w/ white trim painting bathroom and all of the pieces look lovely. The lighting is sufficient because the space is so small, though I could see how it would be insufficient for a larger space. The sconces require atypical bulbs: the type you find in a dining room chandelier. Note: for those inclined to purchase the polished nickel like I did, beware: you will have a hard time matching it to a faucet (if you even care! It's difficult finding a polished nickel faucet). We ended up purchasing a chrome faucet and the difference, fortunately, is not noticeable to anyone except us (more brown in the nickel).

Sconces are great!

After reading the reviews I was a little worried about the sconces not being bright enough for our master bath. They are definitely bright enough (we have two, one above each medicine cabinet) and with the natural light in the room I would not want any more light...They are beautiful and I am very pleased!

Perfect for my small bath

I recently replaced the outdated light in my only bathroom with this gorgeous fixture (in chrome). I do not have any issues regarding the brightness of the light, however, I should point out that my bathroom is very small. I can see how the solid white shades would dim the light too much for a larger bathroom. Overall very happy with the look, quality, packaging and quick shipping.

Not That Bright, Still Love Them

I ordered 2 of these for my master bath, and 1 for a powder room, all in chrome finish. Very well-packaged and arrived in absolutely perfect condition. The style is great. Nicer than what's available at home improvement stores and worth paying more for. I have to agree with the other reviewers that the light could be brighter, but for my rooms they're still going to be fine.

Beautiful fixture

I agree with the previous review. This is a beautiful, well-made fixture, but it will not provide enough light for the entire bathroom. Be sure to supplement with an overhead fixture or two when designing your bath

Beautiful but poor lighting

This fixture is gorgeous, but the very small light bulb base even with 60 watt bulbs creates very dim lighting. Very undesirable for a bathroom vanity.
