The fabric is scratchy and not soft. I thought washing it might help and it did a little but it is not soft and comfy like the last comforter I purchased. Love the color and it works so well with the euro shams and quilt I previously purchased from PB.

I was really really happy with my duvet! I am a working artist and so have vert little funds to spend and so buying this duvet was a bit of a stretch for me. Luckily it is beautiful! Really heavy nice quality. Worth the money I spent on it. I am very happy with my new addition.

I wanted something that was gender neutral for me and my boyfriend. I saw this and fell in love. It's a great look, a bit heavy so it slides off the bed every now and then but its suprisingly really comfortable.

Although I felt the price a bit on the high side, this is the bedding I have always wanted so I figured what the heck, I deserve a little luxury! This duvet, coupled with the quality down comforter I purchased to fill it has me feeling like Marie Antoinette every night I climb into bed. J'adore!

This is a very nice, well designed duvet. I ordered the porcelain blue and the sprout. Sprout was better for my color scheme. It's not a true linen feeling duvet just yet, but I suspect it will get there with washing (it does have some rayon in it). I like the corner ties that hold the comforter in place.

I really love this duvet cover. The toile pattern is timeless, and a pretty addition to any room. The material is definitely good quality and the little details, like the internal comforter ties and the easily hidden button closure, make this duvet cover an excellent purchase. My only complaint would be the price; especially with shipping, it can get expensive, but it seems to be on sale often. I'm really happy with my purchase though! :)
By the way, I bought it in green. The color seems to be very accurate to the online images, and is very beautiful in person.

I have been wanting a duvet set for a long time but it wasn't until I saw this Matine Toile in Sprout Green that I realized this was the perfect set. I didn't want anything too girly looking but still had a delicate appearance. My husband and I both like this set.

This bedding is perfect. It exceeded my expectations. The pattern is gentle and soothing. The color is neutral and goes well with everything I have in the room. The material is soft but seems durable...should be helpful as this bedding is in the guest room and all our guests have young kids. I recommend it without hesitation.

We have small dogs that like to sleep on the bed so I wanted something classy that was machine washable. This print is really beautiful and washes well. It is very warm and durable (another plus with the dogs). My husband likes it because it is not too feminine but it offers color to our room. I use white or sage green sheets with it which works really well when it rains and the little muddy paws sneak on the bed!:) When I bought it I considered it a splurge, however the quality made it worth every penny. I bought the King size for a Queen size bed to avoid having to buy a bed skirt or deal with washing a skirt. We also bought the Shams which I recommend.

This Duvet is supper cute! I'm a college student living in my own apartment, and this duvet fits right in. Its pattern gives my room a more homey feel because of the soft tones of color. The material of the fabric is not too heavy nor itchy. I am a huge fan of sprout green, and was very pleased that the color displayed on the internet was true to its actual color!

I purchased the sheets, 5 shams, bedskirt and several towels and wash clothes in the color sage. I also purchased a white quilt from Pottery Barn. After fresh paint, white crown moulding and base boards, this is now my favorite room. The colors are fresh, clean and give you a "happy feeling." Expensive, but I LOVE the look. I am thinking of finishing off the room with two panels of the matching curtains.

After wanting to buy this for a year, I finally ordered it, and was quite disappointed when it came with the print upside down! After talking w/customer service, the guy said I must have got a fluke and reordered a new one. This too came upside down! A different cust. service rep. told me I could just have the button closure at the bottom of the bed! After I told her my down comforter would be hanging out inbetween each button and would look tacky she said I could tie it to the inside ties, however MY comforter does not have ties. Why would PB even make this with the print upside down?? What a waste of a beautiful duvet!

The fabric was soft, and the pattern is beautiful, but the color green is not as it is depicted in the image. It is definitely a far lighter green.

I have the duvet cover, regular shams and Euro shams, and I like them very much. I matched the paint color for my walls to the green in the fabric, and it's a much more "pea green" than what it looks like. There's a lot of yellow in it. Also, if you order different pieces of the Matine at different times, there is a definite change in the color lot. Washing several times remedies this, however.
