Beautiful print

I've always liked this gentle toile print. Now I've put it on a guest bed with a view of the ocean, in a room of neutral color and peace and quiet. Just the right effect.
On the negative side, the size does not exactly fit the oversize king duvet it's covering, and I wish there were more flexibility of sizes, OR that the fabric were available so I could make my own. Not to mention matching whatevers.

The entire Matine Toile bed set is beautiful! The color is so soft looking and gives the whole room a restful feel. Love it!!!!

Love this duvet. Very soothing "spa blue" color. Very pleased with the fabric. It's not super soft, but the linen texture is very stylish looking and haven't had trouble with wrinkling.

a bit disappointed

I bought this item as a gift but the color, although beautiful, was more green than blue.I exchanged it for the Amelia silk quilt and shams in blue and paired it with the linen ruffle Euro shams and the Guiliana Palampore embroidered pillow as an accent pillow. The combo of fabrics and textures made this the perfect gift.

After stuffing the duvet cover with my duvet, I folded it and placed it at the the foot of the bed over Pottery Barn's white quilt and added the matching toile European shams ... perfect. While described as "dark porcelain blue", it really isn't a dark color. In fact, it's closer to "medium light" creating a soft, airy and very pretty look. Classic, feminine, but not girly. Love toile and love the way this all came together.

The duvet cover and sham are of high quality fabric, superb design toile, and excellent detail to the finish work. The dark porcelain blue toile makes just the subtle change that I wanted on

This bedding is beautiful, but not only is the blue not blue, the white background is not white. It is definitely more of a creamy ivory, and would not go with a white bed or sheets. So far off from the photos online!

Very pretty. The blue is a particularly nice shade. I especially like the linen texture. The inside ties are a wonderful feature.

Good looking spread

I just moved into a tiny 100 year old house (first place of my own!!) and I have been given lots of old, wonderful furniture that has been in my family for years. The old pieces I have come from both the Northeastern side and the Southern side, and this bedspread pulls the the styles together beautifully. It looks sophisticated and doesn't require too many accents to look like a comfortable and luxurious bed that packs a visual punch. I just have two shams and my regular pillows and it looks great.
My only complaint is that it is a little scratchy, but not uncomfortable. I just wouldn't want to nap on top of it.
Overall I am incredibly pleased with this duvet cover.

Ordered the shams and quilt after swooning over this pattern for forever. The color was too greenish to go with the paint in our bedroom. I ordered the unquilted shams thinking they would be softer but the linen fabric would be too scratchy for me. They are going back to the store. Beautiful pattern, just not for me.

We love, love, love this duvet cover! We have a Farmhouse canopy bed and have this bedding on it and it has a realy old-world European look. A soft blue, calming color. A romantic look without being too girly, so even my hubby likes it.

Cheap and scratchy

I bought this Duvet with matching shams because I loved the beautiful pattern and color choices. However this was a very disappointing purchase. The fabric had such a low threadcount it looked like burlap. I could not believe sheets from PB would be that poor quality. I finally asked Customer service who confirmed they are a 200 thread count. I didn't even realize you could buy <250! This is NOT worth the money.

I have wanted this bedding for two years. It was worth the wait. Excellent quality and matches the blue pick-stitch quilt perfectly. Can not wait to get matching shams! It does not wrinkle either.

I have bought other duvet covers from PB in the past, but this is my favorite for it's beauty. The fabric feels very durable yet soft and cuddly. I am so happy I finally made this purchase, as I had been thinking about it for awhile.
