Margaritte Embroidered Drape
We translated the blooming vines of our Margaritte palampore into embroidery to create a drape with soft color and exceptional versatility. The crewel-stitched linen/cotton makes a fresh statement at the window. 50" wide; available in four lengths. Linen/cotton. Detailed with floral embroidery. Lined with cotton for privacy and enhanced light filtration. Hangs from the pole pocket or converts to ring-top style with the included drapery hooks. Great panel, poor quality control

This panel was exactly what I was looking for and looks great in my family room. Unfortunately, one panel was defective in that the bottom seem was sewn very unevenly, making it quite an eyesore next to the perfectly sewn panel. If quality control was better I would give this panel 5 stars. Customer service was excellent to deal with. The exchange is not complete yet, but I am confident all will be resolved soon.

Gorgeous Drapes but...

I just bought the Neutral drapes at the PB store but I was expecting the background fabric to be a heavy white linen but they are actually a creamy light yellow colored basketweave. They are still fabulous but Im actually hoping they will fade with time. The backing where the hooks go seems to be a cheaper design then previous PB drapes I've had, but still very heavy and well made. Embroidery is beautifully done.

I ordered these for my formal living room and formal dining room. They are beautiful. I love the detailed embroidery. Pottery Barn always has the best quality drapery A+. These are no exception. The only reason I rated them 4 instead of 5 is because I ordered these online and when they arrived I was surprised to find the color quite a bit darker than the online picture. The online picture makes them look like a light cream but they are actually a few shades darker. I still love them and they work well in my home but next time I will go to the store first to check colors.

These draperies are beautifully made and look so elegant in my bedroom. They have changed the whole look of the room and given it the touch of class I wanted. Get a sample first if you have questions about the colors.

Photo not accurate

Based on the photo, I expected a finely woven fabric in a light cream color for an elegant look to brighten up my living room. It's actually a linen-type weave in a sandy-colored fabric that has a more casual look. Although the embroidery matched my furniture OK, I will be returning this.

the colors appears vibrant ivory and dark red on my computer screen but when it arrived it was more a tan color and dull red. Nice and heavy, but I sent them back because the colors did not work.

These drapes are gorgeous. Nicely made and look very rich. The only caution I would give a purchaser is to understand the background material is darker than it looks in the picture, so beware.

I've been eyeing these drapes up for months. Was a little nervous because they were catalog only so I couldn't see them in person before purchasing. I took the risk & absolutely love them. They are better in person. Quality is fantastic. The only thing I'm bummed about is that for the first time since I've been researching them they are on sale & I missed out.

I was put off about the expense of these panels, but couldn't find anything I liked as well or that suited what I wanted for my bedroom better. I ordered them, and they are elegant and impressive. The embroidery is exquisite, and the curtains are heavily lined which will protect them from the sun shining through the window. They are very high quality, and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks, Pottery Barn!!

These drapes are even better in person! The embroidery sets it apart from other drapes. I took a chance spending this much money on drapes, but really glad I did.

I just absolutely love my drapes I ordered but they were not true to size as far as lenght. I bought 6 panels - 4 at 108" and 2 at 96". One of the 108" is way too short (well about 1" to 1 1/2") All my drapes puddle at the floor with the exception of this one. But overall they are lovely!!

The drapes themselves are beautiful. The problem is that one panel is 2 inches longer then the other. I am waiting now until the closest Pottery Barn store (which is 60 miles from my home) gets a new shipment so that I can exchange them. Given the cost of the drapes, I expected better.

Curtains are of quality material - but "strings/fishing line" on the back where the hooks go are very loose and flimsy - hooks kept falling out and I had to tighten a few with thread.
For the price I think a little more attention could be paid to the finishing of the product.
These drapes were the second set I ordered - we used another pattern in another room and all was ok with these - the Vanessa pattern.

After much debate because of cost, my hubby and I decided to purchase these drapes for our dining room. They are beautiful. They give a warm texture to the room, are double paneled so they keep the room feeling extra warm, and the embroidery looks even prettier in person. The only annoying part was ironing them, but it was worth it. They hang fine - completely even and stitched well. We chose to get rings/clips to hang them.

These drapes are very pretty and the material is of good quality. However, one panel was over an inch longer than the other and I had to pay to have it shortened!

They don't hang properly. Material has stretched.

I love the material of these drapes. However after pressing and hanging they do not hang properly. It's as thi the mayertial stretched during pressing but the lining didnt. I see no way to correct this and will be returning. Unless someone here can give me a solution. I want to keep these drapes but they look cheap the way they hang!
PS. I used a professional steam press.
