Madera Suzani Duvet Cover & Sham
The stylized blooms found on traditional suzani textiles were the muse behind this bedding's bold, colorful pattern. Woven of a linen/cotton blend. Duvet cover reverses to solid red. Sham reverses to self. Duvet cover has a button closure; sham has an envelope closure. Duvet cover, sham and insert sold separately. Machine wash. Imported.

Love/Hate with This One!

What I love: Visually, I LOVE this set! I purchased the king duvet and standard and euro shams. Everything looks better than I hoped. What I Don't Like: The linen in unforgiving. If you want a nice, soft, cozy top layer, this is not for you. The bottom side is soft so we just fold it down so we don't have to touch the linen side. I also have an issue with the shams (both varieties). The envelope close (I think they call it that) "bulges" open showing the pillows. I have standard pillows, nothing plush by any means, so I don't think I can blame it on the pillows. I think a closure would be helpful or maybe a longer piece of fabric for more coverage. I like the look enough to put up with the shortcomings though! = )

Cute but not comfortable.

This bed spread is very cute, however I've had a few issues with it. For one, the outer layer is rough and scratchy. I hoped washing it would help, but it has not. You don't really want that side touching you because its uncomfortable. All of the buttons at the bottom have also popped off. I've only had the bedding for a little over a month. They fell off after the first few days. The last minor issue is that the queen size seems to run a little big. My normal duvet is too small and slides around. I haven't had issues with this before.

I have had this for a while but we have not used it yet. It will go in a guest room when it gets completed. So from my initial inspection all seems excellent. But the proof is in the using of it. If things change i will change my rating later.

The colors are a bit washed out..it is not as vibrant in person as in the picture..when I first got it I thought I had it inside out. Which is why I am giving it 4 stars...I have now owned it for 2 months and am glad I kept it...The design is lovely and I am enjoying the "lighter" color. Very well made. It is worth the money. Will be interesting to see how it holds up to dry cleaning..but don't plan on doing that for about 6 mo or more...

This duvet cover is just just lovely in person. The colors are just as pictured. It does have a slightly distressed look, which I love. The material on the top is very durable and stiff (not in an uncomfortable way), but the solid colored bottom is soft. Great purchase.
