Item Shorter Than Advertised

This garland arrived today - it's beautiful and fresh and looks exactly like the photograph. I sprayed it with Wilt-Pruf, which should address longevity issues other customers have had.
However, the garland is supposed to be six feet long and it actually measures in at less than five. Six feet would have been perfect for my fireplace mantel. At less than five, I'm going to have to add supplemental greenery, which will dimish the impact.
Very disappointed.

High expectations

I really love natural eucalyptus and red berries at the holidays, so I was hopeful that this piece would be exceptional. To be fair, I did not open it immediately, as suggested, but quite frankly, I was disappointed overall. It smelled great, but didn't warrant the price for as long as it looked good. Would not order again.

I was very disappointed that the garland dried out so fast. I probably won't purchase it again next year. It was pretty but I wanted it to last alot longer then it did

Would not buy again

I was very disappointed with the garland. It arrived fresh, beautiful, and smelled wonderful. What I did not realize though, after 24-36 hours, it dried out (as I believe the product is intended to do). No longer did it have that wonderful Christmas smell, it looked so pale and puny, and the slightest movement made a huge mess due to the fragility of the now dry leaves/berries.
You may like this item if you know ahead of time that it will look more like potpourri. Also, make sure you bend the garland into the desired shape right away. Once it dried I was not able to shape it anymore.

Such a letdown...

I too was disappointed in this garland. While I realize that any fresh cut garland will dry out, this was unusable after only a few days. Sad.

very very disappointed in the garland

I was very disappointed with the eucalyptus and berry garland. It arrived and was already drying out and too stiff and brittle to be able to be able to use it on the mantle as I had hoped. I am a caterer and an event planner and thought I might be able to cut it up and use it to decorate buffet tables and Trays but the garland shed and broke apart from dryness. I have purchased items from pottery barn for years and used them for catering and events but this was a big disappointment. I have had to throw the garland out.

Pretty for a few days, then, dry as a bone and in addition, the eucalyptus leaves began to curl up and die - not just dry out. Also, the berries were never bright and red, but yellow, dusty pink and white. Basically dead. I would never recommend nor purchase this again. Even kept in a cool environment until ready to display will it last but a few days. For my money, I'd go with something much more reliable, as in the magnolia leaf garland. This purchase was a terrible waste of money, and the same goes for the wreath, unfortunately.

Holiday garland

I ordered this garland knowing it was made of natural materials; it was beautiful the day it arrived -- the leaves were fresh and smelled wonderful. The next day however it was completely dry and the leaves were brittle and curled up. I was quite disappointed since I'd hope to have it still attractive for Thanksgiving. I had to throw it out a few days later; next time I will store in refrigerator until ready to display.

Lovely garland

The live garland is very pretty and fragrant. However, I am concerned that it may dry out before Christmas. I am keeping it in a cool place until I am ready to put up my Holiday Decorations, and hoping that it will remain in good condition. I was disappointed that the package did not include any care instructions.
