Christmas Table Linens

I have not used these table linens yet, but I think they are going to be very beautiful on the table during the Christmas season. One concern I did have was about the placement of the labels on the placemats. The thread attaching the labels is visible on the front of the placemat. I removed the labels without a problem, but it would be great if PB could find a way to attach the labels so they don't show through.

I bought these linen napkins a couple of years ago. I love them. They have true linen quality. I use them to dry dishes. They are five star products.
Recently I bought the same napkins but I feel somehow their quality is not the same as my old ones. They don't absorb the water as quickly as the previous ones even though I washed them a few times to get rid of the surfice coating. They are slightly thicker and softer for a 100% lines napkins. It feels like it is cotton combined.
All the natural fabric is slightly different so maybe it was only this batch of production...... I will still try to buy them because I can't get 100% linen napkins at this price anywhere else.

I loved the napkins. I had them monogramed with white thread - they were elegant. Loved them so much more than the table cloth.

Let me say that the napkins are of great quality, the monogram is elegant and stately. The size is great, and they dress up my dining table immensely. Having said that, I need to mention that upon opening the package I was dissappointed because the color of the napkins was nothing like what the swatch showed on-line. I ordered Atlantic Blue, and online they looked a rich shade of blue, but in actuality they are green, not blue at all. It would have been nice if they were truly blue. Thank you so much!!!

I purchased these napkins in the light blue with an ivory monogram and they are beautiful! They are larger than the napkins you find in stores and the linen is top quality. I know I will enjoy using them for many years to come.

We gave these as a wedding gift. The bride and groom loved them! The monogram made them both personal and functional. I paid for the gift wrap. Unable to resist a peak, I opened them and was suprised to find them in a plastic bag. I do think they could have been removed from the bag for a better presentation. Other than that, they were perfect!

Very elegant and their appearance is just what I wanted. I wish the linen had been a little heavier though. Of course, then they would have been more expensive and the price at which I bought the placemats was just right!

The napkins have a touch of bygone days and the hemstitching is wonderful and elegant looking on their own. The monogram adds a touch of class to the napkins. Looking forward to having them and enjoying them for years to come.

I purchased the linen napkins to go with a linen tablecloth purchased in Italy. They match perfectly and the table I set with them was very elegant. They are large, thank goodness, and wash and iron beautifully.

I adore the fabric, the style and the color - cranberry. Should you ever decide to include a rectangular tablecloth, in cranberry, that will cover a 6' table, I will certainly buy one. The same holds true for another, also in cranberry, that will cover a round, 54" D table.
The cranberry tablecloths and, no doubt, more napkins, will be very helpful during the Christmas holidays. I need to seat 22 and want the tablecloths (and napkins) to match the napkins and place mats I already have and plan to use on my main dining table.

I have had my ivory napkins for over a year now. They wash very well. Yes, they are linen and, yes, they have to be ironed; however. a quick spritz with water and a quick pass with the iron seems emough. The linen fabric has lovely texure, the hems are nicely stiched, and the size is generous. I have received compliments on them. If ironing is a problem, go for synthetic blends; but, to me, nothing is more elegant than linen on the table.

I like the look of these place matts, but not easy care. They need iron after washing. The ironing is not my concern, but they just don't look as nice once laundered and ironed. The shape just isn't as nice.

I received a set of 6 for Christmas and wanted to get 6 more. When I got the additional set of 6, the monogram was in an entirely different place from the first set - even though I had no option of placement. They were quickly replaced so that all 12 monograms matched. The placemats are just like the napkins without any kind of backing or other material to make them more substantive under dinnerware.

Only get the Place Mats

These are so original in their design. They look fragile in the photo, but are far from it in hand. I'm not sure yet how easy to clean because they feel so textured that I think dirt will have places to hide on them. I only purchased the place mats since they should get less abused than the napkins. If mats hold up, I'll get the napkins as well.

I bought this set for Thanksgiving, the runner, napkins and placemats, it is absolutely beautiful, very well made. It looks wonderful in my table, also, you can use for a formal dinner or just a casual gathering. So glad I bought it!!!

Colors don't match

I ordered ivory napkins online to match an ivory table runner that I bought at a store. The ivory colors did not match at all. I made the mistake of having the napkins monogramed so they are not returnable. I'm very disappointed that I can't use the tablerunner and napkins together on my table. Also, the napkins are very large and seem to overpower my plates.
