This is not usual PB quality. The linen is glued to the board so poorly you can clearly see the wood frame holding this together. It's not seamless like the picture shows it. I ordered two and one had a puncture from the back through the front. Also, both of them were so warped there was a 1/2" gap when hung on the wall.

Lovely linen cover and sharp, clean lines. Only problem is normal push pins do not work as there is not enough cork backing under the linen to hold them. The pushpins end up sticking out from the surface of the board too far.

The pinboard was very warped and could not hang on the wall without obviously showing the warp. In addition, one of the back braces was loose and, although I was able to hammer this in place, it did not help the warp which appeared to have taken place over a long period of time. After I removed the large inboard from the packaging, it was an ordeal to package it back up for return and decided instead to return it to the local Pottery Barn. Given the quality, I decided not to have a replacement shipped. This was not Pottery Barn's usual high quality.

The pinboard looks fine, but has an unfortunate problem:
Push-pins, which I use on other pinboards in my office, do not easily go in or stay in. That means I have to use two types of pins, pushpins, and the special pins that come with the board.
Does that sound like office efficiency? I find this annoying, and knowing Pottery Barn's standards, surprising.

The pins sent with the boards are insufficient for me and I would appreciate hearing from customer service about how to get more of them.

The push pins do not "push" into the material very well and therefore they are not very secure. The material used behind the fabric is not a "cork" material (it is more like a stiff cardboard), hence the push pin or thumb tack not being secure to the material. The price charged for this item was much more than the quality of product received.

Great idea, not up to PB standards

I was thinking about using this as a board to display my jewelry or to use in my office. The linen color was good but showed splotches where some glue had made a stain. I then tried the tiles next and had the same issue. It's a great idea but for over $100, I expected the quality to be better.

The Pinboard was the perfect fit for my kitchen wall. Wish you could push the pins in deeper though.

The board is wrapped beautifully with linen but the thumb pin does not pierce in all the way, not as deep as good cork boards. This means I cannot use taller pins. Even the thumb pins provided by PB does not go in all the way.

Perfect size! I love this board.

It's beautiful, serene and soft. It will compliment any decor perfectly. The subtle texture adds a nice depth to the room without being distracting. Easy to hang.... now I'm almost sad to hang anything on.... it looks pretty plain. :)

A terrific Bulleting Board

This is a sturdy, heavy duty bulletin board and just the right size for all my decorating ideas. I have plaster walls and did not want to put the large screws into the wall (plus I like to move things around a lot) so I leaned the bulleting board against the wall. It is actually easier to see from my computer now. The linen material is quality and a nice neutral color.

Very pleased with the purchase. Bought both sizes. Used picture hanging wire on the large board to allow for the board to be hung from hooks driven into studs. Hangs very well that way. Medium board installed as recomended.

I am an Interior Designer and was looking for something simple, clean line and in a basic color... I found it! I have been looking at several different boards from other companies, thinking of making one myself... but i am happy I got this one! I would and WILL recommend it to others!

This was requested as a gift and purchased on-line so I never saw the item in person until it arrived. I was surprised at its "plainness" and thought it was way overpriced. I cannot evaluate its durability and wear since it is not in my home.

This is a really nice looking board for your office. It is easy to hang and feels sturdy on the wall. I got the larger one and it really fits the room nicely, the linen is very neutral and goes with everything. I would have given this 5 stars however, the fabric about one inch inside of the board is indented (I think from shipping) all the way around..I would reccomend this product.

This product is very large, but it is attractive. I have it on the wall in my office. It's easy to use the enclosed pins to attach things to it, however, the pins won't go all the way in, so if you want to not put a hole in a photo or whatever, you are out of luck.

The pinboard is perfect size and color for my new office. Can be hung vertically or horizontally and will work great to move things off my desk.

I love my large linen pinboard! The neutral color is perfect in my office. As a freelance graphic designer with a home-based business, it has been perfect as an idea display board. I've gotten loads of compliments, too!
