Landon Sofa
We took the pared-down silhouette of a mid-century sofa and reinvented it with deep seats and thick cushions. This sofa really is a beautiful sofa BUT the pictures on the Potterybarn website do not give the viewer enough information. It mentioned it being mid-century inspired. I thought it was going to have straight modernish lines. I thought the direction of the arms of the sofa would be perpendicular(90degree angle to) to the length of the sofa. When it arrived, the arms were nothing like what they look like on the pictures. They sweep to the left and right, toward the outside ends of the sofa. Pottery barn needs to put a picture of the sofa from straight on. This makes it a totally different style than I wanted and would not have ordered it had I known. Also, the cushions(especially the back) are not taut enough. There needs to be twice the amount of filling in the pillows. All the legs were loose and we had to tighten them as well. That's not a big deal though. I'm giving it a four stars because it is pretty. It's just not the sofa style I thought was represented.

Great for formal living

This sofa is well made and is beautiful. However, it is more of a formal living type sofa and not an everyday lounge type sofa.
