Electrician Husband says do not buy

Although it looks beautiful, instillation is not just extremely difficult, but impossible since the mounting nuts do not screw into the mounting studs which hold the fixture to the ceiling. This is not just in one case, but with all three fixtures we ordered! We are very disappointed that this product passed Pottery Barn's quality control.

This light fixture looks so simple, but so elegant. It also provides so much light, you would be surprised. Excelent purchase.

Disco Lights!

So disappointed in this lovely fixture. I purchased 2 for a hall and adjacent mudroom. Perfect and beautiful until you turn them on. The fixtures cast light shadows that bring a disco ball to mind! The electrician said had they been in a much larger room the light would have been more diffused and probably worked just fine, but in a small space, too wierd! Customer service was great and I will be sending them back.

Undesirable reflection

This fixture is beautiful until it is turned on. I bought it for the entryway and after going through the trouble of mounting it, I turned it on and it looked like a disco! Very disappointing. I wish it was clear glass because the fixture is beautiful, but I didn't realize the textured glass would cause such a reflection. Going to have to return it.

Perfect fit

This light is the perfect fit for my house built in the early 30's. I love how the glass breaks the light into patterns across the walls and ceiling. The only reason this light did not get five stars because it has the most rediculous mounting bracket. I had to modify the mounting bracket to make it work.

This light fixture is beautiful, but once we installed it, we excitedly turned on the lights and lo and behold it was like a disco ball was in our kitchen. There were spots all over the ceiling to the middle of the walls. It is not a subtle effect and I'm not sure what this lighting would be useful for. We returned it, but I thought people should know what the light does before buying it.

The glass detail can't even been seen in the pictures available. The light adds a pop of "industrial" which my fiance loves and elegance when its on. I will definitely get a dimmer switch for this outlet so I can change the mood and setting. Definitely a good deal and is worth every penny. I'm actually shocked it was only $199 as it appears to be more.

Beautiful flushmount

I bought this light a few months ago for the entryway of our home and its gorgeous! The glass is so heavy and even my electrician commented on the quality of the piece. It adds so much character and completely changed the look of our entryway - which previously had a generic-looking flushmount. Due to the hammered look of the glass, it does create a textured look on the walls when the light is on - this may or may not be desirable depending on where you're planning to put it.
