Isabella Jewelry Box
Our traditional Isabella Jewelry Box has a beveled-glass lid that reveals its contents. 11.5" wide x 9" deep x 5.5" high Top has three compartments. Drawer has a ring holder and space for larger items. Lined with khaki canvas. Antique-pewter-finished knobs. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogram will be centered on the glass lid.

I am very happy with my recent purchase of the Isabella Jewelry box. It was packaged very securely and it arrived on time. The jewelry box is very beautiful especially with the three initial monogram. It is very spacious too.

Problems actually getting the jewelry box...

Pottery Barn merchandise that I have ordered and had shipped in the past has been excellent until I purchased the Jewelry Box. The jewelry box itself was beautiful but I never got one to actually give as a Christmas present. That is why I gave it 3 stars.
It was a Christmas present for my Mom and it was to be monogrammed. The package arrived and the jewelry box had several medium size nicks and marks on it. It WAS monogrammed. The jewelry box was beautiful so obviously I wanted a replacement. I called and customer service couldn't have been nicer and sent another one out that day. I received the replacement and there was no monogram on it this time. I had to send it back and at this point just cancelled the order since I had no time left to get it for a Christmas gift. Because of what transpired, Pottery Barn sent me a $50 gift certificate for the trouble I had.

I bought this for my grand daughter for Christmas. She is of the age she is accumulating some jewelry, and she seemed delighted with it. It seems well made and sturdy. I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend this item.

This lovely jewelry box was larger than I had originally thought, which was a nice surprise. Even better, it was on sale and I'd needed a new jewel box for a long time. I like the idea of a 'see-through' glass insert; so you know exactly where your items are, and what to choose. The lower drawer gives a lot of extra storage for rings, earrings, even pins. The top lifts up to give you easy access to your larger prized pieces, like necklaces and bracelets, if you wish. Very functional and attractive, and I'm glad it came along just at the right time!

I loved the look of the mahogany jewelry box online and actually bought two as gifts . . . wish I had bought mine first. The box is way too large for a high dresser, and it's cheaply made. Yes, the monogram is lovely, but the edges of the drawer are raw, not smooth or beveled. It holds a lot of jewelry, but it is most definitely NOT up to Pottery Barn's usual fine quality. VERY disappointed!

Like other comments suggest the mahogany box is junky and I for one plan to go over in person to PB and attempt a refund, monogram or not! Box does not have a pewter knob, it's gold/brass looking and arrived with 2-3 scratch marks on front and some sort of tacky residue on the bottom. Was ordered for a gift and now I can't give it. I want my money back. Even the monogram etching is poorly done. Boo!

Mahogany color does not match photo!

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.
I have an ivory Isabella from 5/6 years ago and thought I'd try the mahogany, but this is not the same quaility. The drawer was too tight so I couldn't get it out without tugging.
The color: the rich, dark color of the online picture was nothing like what arrived - much lighter and not shiny. The color and finish was uneven and unmatched - like the stain didn't have enough coats and wasn't finished on one side.
All in all, this one seemed inferior quality. Maybe the ivory is a better finish and would match my older one.
Disappointing. Not up to the expected great PB quality.

This jewelry box is a lot larger then I thought it would be when I got it. I thought I wouldn't like it and even thought about sending it back, but I kept it. I am glad I did. I am not the kind of who has a lot of jewelry, but I do wear glasses. I use the top part to store my glasses and sunglasses. Each section is large enough for 2 pairs. And I use the drawer for all my jewelry. Turns out this jewelry case is the PERFECT size for me and my needs.

Just received this box in the mail, it is a Christmas present for my sister in law. I wish I could put up pictures to encourage others not to buy this product. There are scuffs on the top like other reviewers mentioned, AND the hinges on the top are literally ripped through the wood, leaving the top separate from the drawers. It cannot be reattached because the wood is severely splintered. The mailing boxes were perfectly intact so it was an issue with the manufacturing not the shipping. My product was monogrammed and therefore not eligible for return. DO NOT BUY THIS JEWELRY BOX!!

Quality has gone downhill on this item

I bought one of these about 5 years ago to use as a watchbox, and I love it. I decided to buy another one, and was really disappointed at how much lower quality this item is now. I put it side by side with the old version and it's shocking.
The wood finish looks rough and unfinished instead of rich and polished. One of the dividers in the top compartment had come unglued and was laying on its side, and wasn't even fully upholstered with the liner fabric. Also, the insert inside the drawer was too narrow and left about a 2mm gap between it and both sides of the drawer where you could see the foam underneath.
I'll be returning this to the store for a refund. Really disappointing.

There is a black mark on the top left corner that I can't figure out how to clean.....anyone have an idea? I am sure it occured during shipping and am a little disapointed. Thanks

I have looked all over for a jewelry box and could not find any that I liked. The Isabella Jewelry Box was just what I wanted. It was bigger than I thought it would be, it's very well made and the monogram adds a beautiful touch.

I ordered this jewelry box for our granddaughter's 13 birthday, which will be in February. I have the same jewelry box, which I have had for about 5 years. Mine is a very rich dark color. I thought this would be a perfect gift and one that she would have into adulthood.
However, upon receipt the mahogny finish looked unfinished, very cheap. So I called about returning it. I was asked if I wanted to reorder. The white finish was on backorder until April, so would I like to try the other one again. I agreed, however this one while a little bit better finish around the inside of the glass opening it was still not the rich color shown in the catalog, and like mine. So I returned it.
I have now ordered the Andover, it has not come yet but hopefully it will measure up to my expectations of of the quality items from Pottery Barn.

Gave the Isabella jewel box to my daughter (age 13) for Christmas. She loved it and it does look pretty on her dresser. The only problem was when she took it out of the box one of the hinges was very loose so the lid didn't close correctly. She fixed it herself with a screwdriver and it is fine now.

I thought the jewelry box was of great quality. However, I was a little disappointed with the engraving. I have ordered the jewelry boxes before for my stepdaughters and the engravement seemed to be more bold. On the two I recently ordered, the engravement font appeared dim, almost transparent.

I've ordered this early for a Christmas gift for my SIL in her mid-30's. It shipped very fast and is a lovely product. I'm excited to give it to her. My only wish is that the interior velvet be a little more lush and opulant. Instead it is a bit on the hard side and feels just a little less expensive then I'd like it.
