Hudson Shag Rug
We used two types of yarns from the highest grade of New Zealand wool to create a floor covering that's cozy, plush and inviting to bare feet. The thicker yarns on this shag rug are double felted for a dense cushiony feel, and the thinner yarns are tightly twisted for texture. Hand loomed of pure wool. Sheared pile is velvety to the touch. Use with our Rug Pad (sold separately). Imported.

disappointing

I was very disappointed in this rug . It was much more yellow than the beautiful off-white sample I brought home, didn't have as much texture and, worst of all, it had a TERRIBLE odor. Within hours the entire house smelled of mold or mildew-like odor. Tried to air it out but after a week we couldn't stand it any longer and sent it back. The smell lingered in our house for weeks. Too bad, because the sample is just gorgeous.

Bright, comfy, but excessive sheddingI b

I bought this rug as a replacement for a dark oriental rug. I loved that it was thick and soft to the touch. I was unprepared for the excessive amount of shedding. Everyone in the family including the pets end up with wool fuzz on their feet and carry it throughout the house. The dogs even have it in their eyes. I have had it for over a month now and the vacuum can't get good enough suction to reduce the shedding. I have taken a lint brush to it and that has helped.
