Horse Head Door Guardian
With their powerful necks and alert expressions, these pieces evoke horse sculptures from China's Tang Dynasty. Hand carved from mango wood with a distressed finish, they make striking wall pieces or can be propped on a dresser to hold jewelry. I bought two of the large horse head guardians and put them on an archway in my foyer facing each other. They look gorgeous and I love them. They are heavy but they were easy to hang if you have a husband and power tools. ;) They came with all the hardware that you need.
