Floor lamp

We have many Pottery Barn items in our home. This floor lamp is sturdy, however it would be nice if the height was adjustable, not just the lamp part. It looks ok in the room next to a leather chair and we put in a lower wattage bulb since it is a tall piece. To be honest, if my husband hadn't thrown away all of the packing, I probably would have returned it!

not a bad looking lamp, nice shape, but the base is rather cheap and light weight. not the usual pottery barn quality. i returned it.

It was not adjustable and I had assumed that i could adjust it. By the time I got it the lighting sale was over. I am waiting for the next sale to try one that adjusts.

great design but...

I purchased this lamp for it's great design. It's very sleek and modern more so than most typical task-like lamps. The arc is on the smaller side (great for smaller rooms) and the base/color are exactly what I was looking for. I must have received a lamp that was perhaps returned and damaged. The lamp appeared as if it would tip over easily, if a child ran in front of it. The parts did not align right causing the instability. PB products have always been top rate, hoping this was just a fluke.

Don't Buy this Lamp

I never write reviews, but in this case I just have to. This lamp is cheaply made and very tippy. The finish appeared to be marred or perhaps poorly painted. If I could rate it with zero stars, I would.
I purchased 2 other lamps from PB: a table and a floor lamp. These are no longer available, but if they were, I'd get another one of them instead.
This lamp is going back to the store ASAP.
