This hammock is excellent. It's great quality and the stripes are pretty and the pillow is comfy. Very nice way to relax on a nice day.

Hammock Without a Stand

This was ordered as a gift for my adult son and his family. It is a very nice and sturdy hammock In the online photo it can be seen attached to a porch railing. However, there is no information provided concerning this. Several attempts were made to attach as shown in the photo. The hammock was very unstable. He is now searching for a stand. I checked with Pottery Barn customer service and was told they no longer carry the stand. I feel this information should have been available to the consumer along with instructions for attachment to a railing. Hopefull, my son will locate a useable stand before the return date expires.

Great hammock, very nice and comfortable, the only con - it had no hooks to hang it. Ohtewise, we all loove it.

Nice - but not all weather?

I just bought this Hammock. It is BEAUTIFUL, but - In the photo it is hanging in a porch, so I carefully read all the data to find out if this was outdoor (uncovered) worthy. There was nothing mentioned other than the fabric being water repellent. Upon opening the item I find a care card saying the hammock should be covered or stored during inclement weather. That is not practical for my needs, it will be outside for the summer season. This was an expensive purchase (especially for me in Canada) and I feel that information should have been accessible on the web page before ordering

I am so glad I made this purchase. It has become the best thing since sliced bread in our house. My nieces and nephew practically made it their hangout when they are here during the day since it arrived. My father have to wait until the kids go home before he gets to use it.

We purchased this a replacement (for an identical hammock bought 7 years ago). They last quite a long time, are unique and comfortable. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is due to the fact that over time they fade and grow mold if left outside all of the time to weather. I realize this is inevitable with anything left outdoors, but I felt it happened rather rapidly. Other than that this hammock is top notch!

Even though we are still waiting for summer here in Washington state, I have enjoyed my wonderful hammock and pillow many times. This is a very comfortable and relaxing hammock, I love it!

I bought this hammock for my husband for Father's Day. He absolutely loves it. And the kids do too. We love that it is fabric instead of woven rope. Nothing worse than your skin poking through the holes like it does in the lesser expensive ones. It is lovely and has weathered well. Definitely a good buy.
