I just received this bowl as a wedding gift and I love it.
It's a great size and the weight is substantial. VERY durable.
I haven't used it for serving yet; I'm just using it as a fruit bowl and I love it. It's attractive and a nice alternative to the traditional round fruit bowl.
Only thing is that this "great white" square bowl is not as white as my William Sonoma dinnerware...If your dinnerware is stark white and you are a stickler about matching, this MAY not be for you...But it's still a great bowl on its own.
