Great White Gravy Boat
Like our Great White dinnerware, our gravy boat is characterized by a traditional shape, slightly oversized for a note of grandeur. Rendered in high-fired, highly durable porcelain with a pure-white glaze. Complements our PB White Dinnerware Collection or can be paired with antique china. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Not what I expected

I purchased the Great White Gravy Boat based on its picture on the PB website - handle shape on the long-vertical side, very sexy and modern looking. But what I received wasn't the same. What I received has a more traditional profile with a different handle. I called the store to see if I was just given the wrong boat, but unfortunately no. I was given the only Great White gravy boat style they have. The rep said she'd never seen the one pictured on their site. She suggested that I go ahead and leave a comment sharing my experience. I only paid $8 so I will probably keep the one I received - but I'm soo dissapointed. The one pictured is a knock-out and the one I got is ... boring in comparison.

Great White Gravy Boat NOT SO GREAT!

The gravy boat was backordered, but, it finally arrived. It has several defects in the glaze where the clay is showing through. I thought about sending it back, but, it's not really worth the postage and hassle of returning it. I'm not sure if it is even safe to use with hot gravy since the glaze does not cover the clay in several places.
