Fabulous customer service!

I had a very old gift card from my wedding registry. I wanted to spend it online but it was a paper certificate. I contacted PB and they said to order what I want, pay for it, and send certificate and they will reimburse my credit card. Everything went smoothly. I received items, the money was credited immediately and I was so happy. I love the Great White Coupe dinnerware. It is wonderful. Thank you PB!!

Heavy quality dinnerware. We hosted an amazing dinner in this collection and couldn't have been more satisfied - presentation is a must when trying to make the in-laws happy. Drinking coffee/tea is a much better experience with these mugs than any other mug out there!

Very disappointed in this dinnerware - poor finish - plates had streaks and lumps in the glaze. I returned it.

Thought it would be forever, disappointed

6 years ago I bought Great White Coupe because my husband and I liked the weight and look of the collection. We did not mind paying a little more for the Pottery Barn Quality with the knowledge if we chipped or broke one in the the future, we were buying a collection that would be around forever and easily replaced. Unfortunately today I found that the mugs were changed, made significantly smaller, and I can no longer look to this being my forever-ware. Extremely disappointed. Not sure what to do now. Wishing some long lost Large Great White Coupe Mug still exists in this world.

I have a Keurig Coffee maker like so many of us, and I am tired of buying Place settings to only find out that the coffee cups are to small to hold a large cup cup of coffee. The cups that come with this set are the perfect size and still have room for cream.
Gave away my old set to salvation army.

Chips, Chips, Scratches, and Chips

I was thrilled to order these dishes for our new home. I took a lot of time in the store looking through the choices I had and the sales lady was wonderful. She recommended these to me for the high glazed porcelain. I used them for about 3 months and they were incredibly scratched and chipped. Almost every piece had a flaw of some kind- a bubble, scrape, or chip. I took them back to the store thinking that maybe I just had a bad set- not what you expect from porcelain dinnerware. They exchanged them for me and recommended the traditional great white set, which also has a chip now. If I could do it all over again I would buy the carter box sets of 12 that are said to be "chip resistant." Not happy with my luck.

Great White Coupe Dinnerware Really is Great

We have the large bowls, dinner plates and salad plates and we use them everyday. They are microwave and dishwasher friendly. We love the thickness and weight of the dinnerware and the design of that little bit of lip on the plates. We highly recommend this product for everyday family use or for anyone that wants a clean, simple design on a very sturdy product.

Great everyday dish set

My boyfriend and I ordered this set a month ago and enjoy it every day. The set is great quality, dishwasher safe and heavy weight enough that it will not chip easily. If you are looking for a good basic set for any occasion, I recommend this.

My New Main Dishes

The dishes were even more beautiful in person. The design is very elegant in an understated way, and with the lovely neutral color will also lends itself easily to the addition of other pieces in matching color or with splashes of other colors.
I must say too, I have seen dishware that does not does not compliment the prepared food, not so with these. The mugs are a good size and are comfortable to hold, and the upturn on the plate is great at preventing accidental spills from your plate.
And as an added note, even though some of the set arrived damaged in the shipping, the customer service was great. I am expecting the arrival of my replacement dishes next week. I look forward to having dinner with the full service.

I bought the soup/pasta bowls around Christmas and have been using them daily since then. They are simple, have good heft, and hold a little or a lot, will go with whatever dishes you already have, and I thought the price was a bargain. I am going back to purchase the dinner plates.

I mix and match using my service for 12 Great White! Each season I will purchase the salad plates in the fashion color and just add them in with the GW and it is all fresh and NEW! I am looking for cups for my Coffee House Collection. I have 4 that say TEA but I need at least 4 that say COFFEE HELP!

Great multi-purpose dinnerware

After Hurricane Katrina took everything we owned, I had to start over. We had shopped Pottery Barn before the storm and felt comfortable starting there. This dinnerware, round and square, is great for very casual or more formal service; just change the accessories.

Great neutral bowls

My last bowl that was a good size for a healthy serving of soup, a nice big salad or even a full serving of oatmeal was broken at a holiday party. There was no way to get a new matching bowl, but this set of four is neutral in color and go fine with my existing dinnerware pattern, would probably work with most any pattern. I prepare my morning oatmeal in the microwave in one of these, and I've also served large 2 cup servings of soup, with room to spare so the bowl can still be carried to the table without spilling. They are a perfect size!

My New Favorite Plates

I ordered these for myself for Christmas and it was the best present I got! They are nice and heavy, casual enough for everyday but look beautiful enough for special occasions too.
The rounded shape keeps sauces and juices from running off the plate and my small kids (3&5) like them because it is easy for them to scoop their food off the sides. I've enjoyed showing them off to family and friends during the holidays!
