Create ambient outdoor lighting for a festive gathering. These lights are gorgeous. We have three strings of the 20 bulbs connected to a timer in our backyard so they go on automatically at dusk and off at dawn and they look brilliant. BUT.
In the year we've had these three strands, we've used an entire fourth strand (as well as the two extra bulbs in each box) replacing broken bulbs. So that's 28 bulbs in one year. They are extremely delicate - we lost three one night over some wind - and constantly burn out.
Now that I've gone through that backup strand I will replace an future lights with bulbs from the hardware store.
So they look great, but require constant upkeep and bulb replacement.

Courtyard delight

We are blessed in Las Vegas to have nice enough weather during most of the year so that we can use our outdoor courtyard as an additional living space. We strung these wonderful globe lights across the courtyard and created our own little "Italian Bistro" environment. Fabulous item!!

nice lights, but...

i have mixed feelings about the globe lights - i love the lighting they provide on our screened porch... however, there seems to be to much "string" between each light. additionally, one light didn't work when i plugged them in right after hanging and within 2 days, i had two lights out. thankfully two replacement bulbs were included in the package. overall, like the concept, but i am not thrilled.

love the lights....although a bit fragile, so be careful as you hang them to not bang against anything as the bulbs might break. Wish there were a couple spare bulbs included.

This set of globe string lights provides the perfect amount of outdoor light for our pergola. The bulbs are a heavy glass that is resistent to shattering as we dropped them several times while putting them up -- none broke!

Great Lights, Not weatherproof

The lights are fantastic and provide a great atmosphere for our outdoor patio area. We created a backyard habitat for human's and these lights provide just the perfect finishing touch. The only complaint I really have is that upon receiving the lights, we learned that they are not rated for outdoor use. This kind of defeats the entire purpose of having the lights. We have to take the lights down during rain or bad weather and put them up again when it is nice. This is kind of a pain and could have been avoided, if they had simply been designed for outdoor use from the beginning. I love these lights, don't get me wrong but the would be even better if they were fully weatherproofed and could be left up all the time.

Nice lights for patio umbrella

These string lights are affordable and there are two extra lights included, but the bulbs are wafer thin and one broke as I weaved it between the umbrella "spokes" and fabric. I like that they come 10 per string (If I remember right) as I have an older similar strand (about 4 years ago) that had 2 less lights. versile to place on bushes, arbor or in trees.

We hung these in our court yard just off our kitchen. It has helped us to expand our living space to the courtyard. We can now sit out there late into the evening and enjoy the summer warmth with beautiful lights!

The Perfect Finishing Touch

We bought two 20-light strings and hung them from our pergola. Now our patio just glows with perfection. We live on a golf course, so all the evening golfers and our neighbors have commented on the lighting around our patio. The lights are very well made and have already stood up to torrential rains and high winds. I highly recommend!!

Not the Best Quality

The globe lights are a decent price for the length of the string and fit as I expected around the inside of my screen porch. However, two of the bulbs were non-functional. So even though two spares were included, I now have NO spares, and I've not even used them yet (as it's been light so late). I hope to start lighting my outdoor space with them soon and hope the functioning bulbs last.

My husband and I love mid-century modern, clean, contemporary crisp lined items. We also have an eclectic taste and these lights fit the bill perfectly. We ran the largest of the globe string lights under our railing on our bottom deck. It put out enough light for us to see when we grill and also without killing the ambience we have on the above deck which we only light up with candles. Excellent product and would totally recommend.

Bought these to replace smaller ones from past summers. Good quality and they give such a great feel to a summer night outdoors. They also give off a perfect amount of light. May have to leave them out for the winter parties around the fire pit!

I love these lights! They're different from other string globe lights I looked at in that the globes are wider apart so it's not so overwhelming. These were perfect; loosely strung along our deck area and provided the perfect ambiance for our Full Moon Party.

Nice lights...would recommend to anyone who wants to add a sparkle to their yard or outdoor living space. They are not too bright, and during the day, you hardly notice them hung.
