The lamp was easy to assemble. It is a shiny nickel finish which shows off its strong structure. It looks great in the bedroom.

I've been looking for a black floor lamp everywher. I wasn't thrilled with this one but was desperate. It took forever to get it out of the packaging and once I did I realized it's really not black, more like pewter. And the large shade was way too large. I will be returning both items. Just something to keep in mind before ordering, it is not solid black.

Is absolutely beautiful! Came one day earlier than estimated on shipping. Packed very well. I paired it with a gray linen/burlap shade from the local PB store. Looks very elegant, but not frofro!

This is my first lighting purchase from PB, and overall, I would say, I am satisfied. The lamp was shipped promptly and in parts that you had to screw together. I expected this. The finish is pretty and the base feels nice and substantial. My only complaint would be that the wire that holds the shade on top was slightly out of shape, but nothing that I couldn't bend back in place. That imperfection might have seeped into my brain and caused me to feel like it felt slightly cheaper than what I would expect from Pottery Barn. However, that might be me being overly picky. Overall, I am happy and I would recommend buying this lamp.

I bought this lamp on a whim, needing something to tie a room together and it worked wonderfully! The lamp is very well-made, easy to put together (if I can do it, you can do it!) and looks very nice and classy. I would recommend this lamp.

Received the Gillian Candlestick Floor Lamp today. I ordered it in the antique silver finish. The lamp arrived well packed in a compact box and was very easy to assemble. The assembled lamp is a solid piece with a heavy-weighted base and a nicely polished antique silver. I added a natural linen shade with chocolate brown piping that I found at another retailer and both look great together in my den.
