Beautiful piece of furniture!

Absolutely love this cabinet. Well made and beautiful! It took 3 people to carry it in when they delivered it so it is very solid. I looked every where for a modern china cabinet and when I saw this I just had to have it. Definitely worth the money. Looks beautiful in my dining room.

It's difficult to tell what a piece of furniture actually looks like from photos. PB does a good job with photos, but they can only do so much. Finally, the Garrett arrived at my local store, and I was able to see the design and feel the sturdiness of the cabinet. I was sold! I placed the order, and it was in my dining room 10 days later. From the reviews, I understand that the doors don't close properly when not level. I filled the cabinet anyway knowing that I'll save that leveling activity for a later date!

Great Cabinet for extra storage

I bought the Garrett cabinet due to lack of cabinet space in my kitchen which is quite large. I'm amazed at how many glasses, dishes, cookbooks, etc. I was able to get into it and still have everything displayed beautifully. I also like the sliding doors which makes it so easy to get into without having a door left swinging open. Plus, it's a beautiful piece of furniture.

I bought my first cabinet in 2009. Sturdy, well-constructed, multifunctional. Love it 100%.
This one has a few differences in the details that make me a little disappointed. First, the top is not one solid piece. It has a depth, you can see the screws and has not the gloss finish. You cannot use the cabinet next to stairs and is hard to clean. Second, the details of the doors (joints) have not the smooth finish as used to be. Just simple straight cuts. It looks unfinished. Rustic. Third, the shelves are shorter than the space between the interior walls of the cabinet, it not much but enough to make the reposition harder (Remember: you have to screw the shelves to the wall of the cabinet).
Overall, love it, but only 90%

It took three tried with the delivery team to get this right, but I am so glad I stuck it out because I absolutely adore this cabinet. The Ming Red is a fabulous burgundy -- not too red. I was worried that it would be too hard to clean the glass, but the doors easily slide in and out.

I have been eyeing this cabinet for some time and decided to take the plunge in case they were to discontinue it. This is a stunning piece of furniture. It is well built and arrived with no nicks or dings and there is plenty of storage available. It looks beautiful in my dining room. I am very pleased with this cabinet!!

I love my black Garrett Glass Cabinet..... even my husband that never says anything made a comment about it. This was something I have been looking for awhile, I knew what I wanted in my mind, just finding it!
The delivery people were awesome, unloading it and making sure it was okay and put it where I wanted. All I had to do was open the door and greet 'em.

This piece is just perfect for my dining room. The sliding glass doors make it so easy to access my serving pieces and the glass allows them to be on display for all to see. The shelves are sturdy and handle the weight of the dishes.
The expresso fininsh is dark but lovely. I am so very pleased with my purchase.

I have been looking at this for 2 years and I am so happy that I finally purchased this cabinet. I purchased the cabinet in the red and thought it would be really bold. It stands out nicely against all my expresso colored wood peices, but doesn't overpower. The piece is solid wood and I know is going to last a lifetime. My only complaint is that when delivered the adjustable shelves were screwed in. So, to move them to where I want, took a little more time then I had bargained for.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVE IT

We placed our espresso Garrett Cabinet in our hearth room. The espresso cabinet holds its own against our expensive handmade dining table and chairs. And the stain matches our chairs which I was hoping it would. The simple, yet elegant lines of the cabinet compliment our style. We are displaying our white English china in so it shows up beautifully against the dark stain.
The cabinet itself is very well made. The sliding doors work smoothly and are very stable on their ball bearing rollers. I do wish non-reflective glass would have been used by the manufacturer. The doors are adjustable if they should happen to get out of alignment. Every other shelf is adjustable which makes displaying my favorite pieces easy. The top of the cabinet is covered with stained to match MDF so when you put something up there, it doesn't disappear inside the crown molding like a tray. I like that feature because I also use the top to display.
I highly recommend this cabinet - you can't go wrong.

This cabinet is absolutely beautiful! We purchased the espresso dark wood and it such a nice quality. Very roomy - fit all of our cocktail and drink glasses, special crystal and other keepsakes. It is really a focal point in our great room and everyone is drawn to it when they enter the room. We couldn't be happier. Great price for an outstanding piece of furniture!

This is a great cabinet. It looks wonderful in our living room. With so many different wood colors, we are so glad we got the black which we have accented with black decor in the room. It is well made and holds a lot of items. We are very pleased with the quality and look of the piece.

The cabinet itself is lovely. I like the size and shape. The details like the finished top and moldings are beautiful. The shelves all have grooves to display plates or other display items. The doors are mounted on high quality hardware that allows for adjustment to level them. I did not know this at first though and was very unhappy with how they were hung. The instructions that were delivered with the cabinet did not mention anything about making adjustments to the doors and neither did the customer service person. My husband figured it out on his own. One suggestion for improvement would be to add capability for lighting.

Lovely but defective cabinet

Cabinet is defective. Very impressed that Pottery Barn said that it would replace with one that was not defective after receiving pictures of the one that now sits in my living room. This is to occur the first of April due to a lack of inventory.

I bought this cabinet to hold china and glassware from my grandparents. The glass doors help everything sparkle. It holds so much and the adjustable shelving allows for a change in the visual composition. Dark finish accents the other woodwork that is slightly lighter and adds a pop to my kitchen.
