The only negative I have is that this rug wasn't available in a 9x12 until August. I neeeded it right away and couldn't wait that long, so had to do with the 8X10.

I love this rug...

I wanted to introduce this delicate blue color to my taupe/brown/linen colored family room. This rug is the perfect way to do it. The wool is soft and I enjoy sitting in the room admiring my "find".

Shedding is forever

We have had this carpet for a year and it is STILL shedding and I vacuum twice weekly. Unfortunately, it is past the time where I can return it and the company will only give me a credit. I agree with the fact that it is thick and fluffy under your feet, however, I cannot let my son play on the carpet because his pants get covered in tiny carpet fibers. We may as well get a cat and call it a day. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product.

Great Quality Rug

We got the Gabrielle Persian-Style Rug in blue and it was perfect. The quality is great, exactly what you'd expect from Pottery Barn and definitely worth the price. I know there are usually comments concerning shedding with these rugs, but it's definitely a sign of a quality product. I have vacuumed the rug everyday (in varying directions, as recommended) and have no problems. There has been minimal shedding (although I don't recommend wearing black and sitting on the rug just yet), and the carpet is soft, plush, and lovely beneath our feet. I highly recommend this rug in it's beautiful soft tones. Definitely will continue to buy my rugs at PB.

I bought two of these in the small size for both sides of our bed. They shed a bit because they are real wool. I bought another larger PB wool rug for our family room last year, and it sheds, but if you vacuum once a week, it is so soft and it warms up the feet and the room. The same is true of this rug. I love to step on it when I go to bed and wake up.

Purchased this rug and was very pleased with the quality. Unfortunately it did not suit our decor. PB Customer Service was outstanding and quickly exchanged it for another that worked beautifully. You can't beat PBs customer service!

We love this rug. It is the second Gabrielle Rug that we have purchased. I liked the one so much in the family room that I bought one for the kitchen dining area. The colors are soft and muted. I liked the fact that there is not a border on all four sides.

This rug is pretty but it sheds and balls of fuzz come off of it constantly and blow all over the house...even after vaccuuming it many times.

Very soft. Beautiful muted tones. Matches perfectly with my decor and finishes the room so completely. This rug did shed quite a bit in the first few weeks. But after some time, the shedding is very minimal. We have kids, but no pets. And this rug looks great, is well made, durable and I tend to vacuum about once a week or more.

I bought this rug for my Dining room. It looks great with my hardwood floor and dark dining room table. I have tan/beige walls and silk dupioni curtains in a slate blue. The room looks fantastic!! I have seen some minimal shedding but hopefully it won't last long. I also got this rug on sale which is always great.

This rug coordinates well with my vintage/classic/eclectic decor. The colors look great with the dark wood of my dining table and chairs and stone/putty color of my walls.
Beware that the rug will shed, but according to PB care instructions, shedding should diminish in time.

I ordered this rug for our new family room. The colors are beautiful, the pattern is perfect and it is so soft I have considered taking a nap on it. I would definitely recommend it.
