Fresco Bird Plates, Set of 4
Welcome family and friends to the Thanksgiving table with dishes featuring autumnal birds, botanicals, fruits and vegetables rendered in a rich, warm palette. Crafted of weighty stoneware and edged with a golden rim, they layer perfectly with plates in an array of solid colors. 9" diameter, 1" high Made of stoneware with an on-glaze decal and gold mica-finished rim. just beautiful

These are gorgeous and can be used all fall and also holiday dinners. I used them with chargers as they are a little too small for the actual meal. They feature male & female turkeys, male & female? pheasants, and a quail (I think). They come in a nice decorative storage box - round with lid featuring the birds. You won't be disappointed.

Stunning set of plates

When I first opened the package, I was impressed with the round box that the plates came in. Then when I saw the plates I was thrilled. The colors were stunning, and the weight of the plates showed true quality. It was the second purchase I had made with Pottery Barn. The first item I bought was an embroidered, red, Christmas stocking. It was precious, and I was so pleased, I went online and ended up doing much of my Christmas shopping at Pottery Barn. Exceptional quality in every thing I've purchased. I loved the free shipping and the 10.00 gift card that came with all the purchases.

Love the plates! Everyone tends to skip decorating for Thanksgiving, and I was one of them. These add a beautiful touch to the table without breaking the bank.

Scratched and Frustrated

These plates are absolutely beautiful and I was extremely excited to use them when I hosted my first family Thanksgiving this year. That said, when they arrived I was disappointed to find that many of the plates were scratched, especially on the gold rim. I went to the nearest PB store to exchange them (if you're from Boston you know that PB Stores are scarce) and my sister and I were forced to go through multiple boxes in order to find 3 unscathed sets. Even though I now have 12 pristine plates, I'm a little concerned that the plates will not hold up...disappointing since I was hoping to use them for several years.

I ordered two sets of these plates. I saw them in-store. They are beautiful and can be used for Fall gatherings, as well as Thanksgiving. Highly recommend.
