This holds a HUGE bag of pet food. Could probably fit two large bags. I like that it is not stoneware and feels very sturdy. The scoop is also excellent quality. I think it is worth the price!

dog food canister
December 21, 2012
although initially I was disappointed in the bottom half of this canister...(it is not really crock... kind of like a plaster of paris material) the lid is very heavy and nice. Overall works well for dog food and certainly looks better then the old rubbermaid food holder.

Surprised!!!

This is not what u expect, looks like stoneware but is very fragile material. One wrong bump and it will break. The scoop that comes with it is likely to break the plastic container if dropped in it. Way to expensive for what it is.
