Rug Does Not Wear Well

Very disappointed with the quality of this rug. It is supposed to be an indoor/outdoor rug and very durable. I have it in my living room under a large ottoman. The area of the rug that is exposed looks terrible. When I vacuum it, the fibers come loose. If you have pets, the hair shows and it is difficult to vacuum off the rug. I have always loved every single thing I have purchased from Pottery Barn, so I was very surprised that this rug is not up to par with most Pottery Barn products.
