Exeter 16-Jar Pendant
For generations, home gardeners have used canning jars to preserve the bounty of their harvest. This lighting fixture pays tribute to their industriousness. 35" wide x 7.5" deep x 32" high Sixteen glass canning jars are suspended from a galvanized canopy on gray fabric cords of different lengths. Galvanized metal lids twist off for bulb changes. UL-listed. Hardwire; professional installation recommended. Catalog / Internet only.

I love this light. It is just the look we were going for and everyone who comes into my home loves it. We had it installed by an electrician so I can't speak to the ease (or not) of installation. We put in 25 watt clear bulbs, which we have to order online because no where near us sells them, and the light is just right. Our biggest complaint is that the light bulbs keep burning out. The jars are quite annoying to screw on and off because the thread is straight and not angled for easing turning.

After shopping around for a (informal) dining room fixture in our new home, I decided to order this one. It really caught my attention because it was unique, but not weird. Also, I like that it puts off a good amount of light and isn't too bright nor too dim. I have had lots of compliments on this fixture and would purchase it again. It is exactly as pictured and the electrician seemed to have no problem installing it. Highly recommended!

This light is so bright that it hurts my eyes to turn it on. Even with the dimmer switch the clear glass just hurts to look at. The jars need to be made with a frosted glass possibly. It seems well made and heavy, though I feel as if it only looks good in the day time when the lights are off. I wanted a bright light to fill the room, though this one just gives off bright light directly below it, though doesn't fill the room with a warm inviting light. I hope I can return it.

I would never purchase this light again nor would I suggest anyone purchase it. The canisters are ridiculous to get on and off. One actually broke trying to screw it on and not the top the bottom of the canister fell out!

Looks great once installed and provides great light. It's unique (even moreso when the filament style bulbs are used) and will be a conversation piece for all who visit your home. The jars themselves are not very deep , so be sure to purchase globe bulbs and not teardrop. You will also need to most likely upgrade your light switch to a 1000 watt switch due to the number of 40 watt bulbs that you are using. (Just be prepared for the extra cost of 16 bulbs and a new switch possibly, will be more than the fixture combined if you are using filament style bulbs).

bought this as a christmas gift for my son and daughter-in-law. they LOVE it! Only problem was when it was delivered, even though fragile is wriitten all over the box, the delivery man tossed it on my steps. one of the jars was chipped, and hopefully when they return the 1 jar, there won't be a problem..

The 16 jar pendant is perfect for my daughter's vintage dining room. If I had any complaints, and I'm not sure this is a problem with the lighting fixture, is it burns through light bulbs quickly. Could be the Edison bulbs bought specifically for this fixture, time will tell if other bulbs burn out as fast. But, overall, I am very happy with this product.

I love this lamp! Pictures don't do it justice. One of the jars did not fit correctly on the bulb and customer service kindly sent a replacement immediately. The 16 bulbs give off a lot of light, so I recommend using it with a dimmer. It's been such a popular piece in the house - everyone comments on it. I highly recommend it.

We have had this for about 2 years now and and we continue to get rave reviews on it. I love the simple usefulness of mason jars for everything from canning to candles and this looks great as the centerpiece of our dining table. We installed a dimmer with it so it's the perfect amount of light for all occasions. When installing yourself remember to take the jars off to lighten the load while holding it up to the ceiling.

over the table. Very unusual combination of funky modern and old antique. Everyone asks where I found such and unusual piece.

Finally became a great fixture

It took a little bit of work, but it is a beautiful fixture. When it was first shipped, one of the jars was cracked. Customer service was great in getting another one out to us. But, when we went to install, we noticed that one of the ceramic sockets was also broken. Rather than wait, we just bought a replacement. The jars are a little tricky to get fully tight, and I would recommend using less than 40 watt bulbs because it gets really bright, but it does look great.

We abosultely love our new fixture and have received so many compliments. We followed the advice of other customers and added a dimmer. We bought the 40W bulbs and it is very bright.

We recently moved into a house on a lake. We love PB style, especially the re-purposed items. We hung this over our farm table in the kitchen and it is the perfect piece for our no-fuss, relaxed lake house. It quickly catches the eye of our visitors, then they realize it's fashioned out of canning jars and are delighted. It is absolutely my favorite decor purchase ever. I recommend using clear bulbs and we put ours on a dimmer since it is quite bright.

We renovated our kitchen and I chose this for over our farm house table. It looks great and is definitely a conversation piece. I just wish the bulbs PB sells fit. I bought a bunch and had to return them.

I love this lighting fixture. It is extremely well made and beautiful. I wish I could purchase an extra jar or two to have on had should we need replacements.
