Color is not white!

I wish I had seen these comments before I ordered this! It is more of a beige/off white with distressed finish. Clearly states on the instructions, "almond." On the box it says, "white entryway mirror." Someone needs to start looking at these comments and fix this! I did speak to a very nice woman in Customer Service, but she did not seem to now about any other complaints.

Like previous posters have already said, this is not white. Mine had an orange / yellow hue and absolutely clashed with our bright white mouldings. Perhaps its better suited for someone looking for an antiqued white or more rustic look. The packaging is intimidating and very messy.

Fortunately the mirror was structurally sound, hardware was missing but PB customer service sent that onto me. I sanded the mirror as I will have to paint it as it doesn't look right on the grey and white striped wall in our hall. It's unfortunate that the mirror is incorrectly described as white {unlike the photograph of it online} and the instructions are for an Almond Mirror?!
Customer service said they would correct the description online.

BUYER BEWARE - NOT WHITE

As the previous 2 commenters noted, this piece is NOT white, as it is advertised to be. It also has an "antiqued" look (corners not sharp; paint is streaky) that, while attractive, is not the look I was going for, and not consistent with the product photo on the website. It also doesn't match the other Pottery Barn piece below it. Because shipping was so expensive, and the packaging was so voluminous, it doesn't make sense to return it. Very disappointing. I'm not sure I will buy another piece from Pottery Barn based on this experience.

I was so disappointed when this arrived. It is labeled white in the catalog. it is the farthest thing from white..it is yellow/gold. Awful color. The packaging is daunting. It took me over 30 minutes to un pack this, and there is no way after you unpack it that you could send it back. The stryofoam is all over the place..what a mess Now I will have to spend $$ to get this thing painted to match my other Pottery Barn White furniture...very very very disappointed.

WARNING! This is NOT WHITE

After receiving this in the mail, we sent it back because it was yellow not white. They just sent us a new one and the new one is also yellow ( a little better than the first one but definitely not white). The directions also label it as ALMOND. If you were wanting something white, do not order this. The pictures and description are extremely inaccurate.
