Emmett Jewelry Dresser
Our jewelry dresser is constructed with the same care as our antique-inspired Emmett furniture. 14.5" wide x 9" deep x 11.5" high Features deep, divided drawers and an open compartment at the bottom. Wood frame is finished by hand with our exclusive artisan lacquer in a high-gloss sheen. Detailed with raised feet and silk tassels. Catalog / Internet Only. Monogramming is available at an additional charge. Monogrammable with 1 letter only. Monogram will be placed in the lower right corner of the inside mirror.

This is a beautiful furniture quality piece - but you'll want to check it over before purchasing if possible. We don't have Pottery Barn in my state, so not an option for me. First one had the hinge pin missing so the hinge was disconnected. Second one has mild surface scratches on the top and the key doesn't work. For me the key is purely decorative, so small matter and the scratches are a bummer - but don't want to send it back again. Still recommend it, however, just wanted it perfect given the price. Minis one star since I'm not the only one with the key/lock issue.

Had to send the 1st 2 back due to defects. Got the 3rd one and the keys don't work at all. I figure I probably won't be locking it anyway and I really really didn't want to send back another one. Frustration level was pretty high. It's a nice looking box and holds a lot. But I think it's pricey based on the quality.

Nice size, but a few flaws

Great size for storing all my jewelry, and hand has nice compartments for rings, earrings, bracelets, etc. However I got the espresso finish and it has some scuffs/dings, (more than just distressing/antiquing), right out of the box. Plus, the key does not stay in the lock (falls out) and the lock does not work at all! I probably wasn't going to be locking it, but now I don't event have the option.

Received this jewelry box and the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was! Great quality very sturdy and just all around beAutiful! I got the antiqued white one and am so glad I did. It is the perfect amount of "antique"- looks so nice. Love all the inside compartments especially the earring drawer and love that it has 2 keys that actually lock the top compartment. Not cheap but I will have this forever and then some. Totally worth it!

I've been lookinng for a jewelry box that Iloved. My white Emmett fits the bill. It holds all of my jewelry and looks beautiful as a display piece. It may be a little pricey but so worth it.

I ordered the Emmett because I liked the antique white or
weathered look. It is attractive and holds a lot of different
items. I was disappointed with a few features, however.
First, it is difficult to lock and the key doesn't stay in place.
The third piece of hardware (on drawer) is glued on
crooked so there is no straight line of hardward running
vertically. I found two screws and I have no idea where they
are from...otherwise, the jewelry box is ok...

I purchased this in the espresso stain, it is beautiful - I've had it for 3 years now. I collect antique and vintage jewelry and this is a lovely way to keep my finds close at hand.

Makes me feel special

This is a truly beautiful jewelry box. It is large, but all the better to hold the pieces that I already have and those I hope to have in the future. The distressed white finish is rich and the paint smell mentioned by another reviewer has already gone away (1.5 weeks). It is such a pleasure to look in this box and find the piece I need to go with what I'm wearing, without sorting through a pile of jumbled chains and earrings. To others who choose to purchase . . . ENJOY!

Beautiful, substantial, and great storage

I bought this as a 60th birthday gift and the recipient loved it! It is designed as a stand alone piece of furniture and looks lovely on a table top (or dresser), just like in the product photos. I purchased it in white; the paint is distressed, which adds to its heirloom quality. Plus, you don't have to worry about damaging it. The interior is lined with taupe-colored linen, and there is plenty of small storage space for earrings. The drawers also have spaces for larger jewelry items like bracelets, necklaces, or watches. The base of the dresser is footed, which adds extra appeal and makes it look more like furniture than just a jewelry box. The metal drawer pulls are well made and the key hole on top locks the dresser and adds extra charm. In all, this item is beautiful, is made very well, is heavy, and substantial. Despite the expense, I would recommend it for quality, size, and style over any of the other jewelry boxes/dressers available at PB online or in the store.

Beautiful and well made piece.Very heavy and sturdy. Tons of lined storage. Looks lovely on my dresser. I couldn't wait to fill it up. It is difficult to find a jewelry box that will hold everything, this one does the trick.

Very nice jewelry box. Bigger than I thought, but plenty of room for jewelry. Still smells like paint, but that will go away with time.

I bought this as a wedding gift to my daughter a "new bride." She can use this as a new young bride and as a mother, then past it on to one of her children or grandchildren someday. It is a beautiful piece. Looks like a small piece of furniture, heavy and strudy.
