Chips Chips Chips! BEWARE

Received this for our wedding a few years ago. ALL of the dishes have chips. Yes, we use a dishwasher. My old school Corelle dishes from 1970's have not one single chip. 1/8 the price! Might not be a pretty but these dishes loose their "pretty" fast! Only gave 2 stars because they are pretty....just poor quality.

I love my new white Dinnerware, but when delivered one of the
cups/mugs was chipped on the edge. How do I go about returning/exchanging it for a new cup/mug? Do I take it into the store or send it back via mail?

My husband and I received this dinnerware set for our wedding (teacups and soup bowls, with 4 cereal bowls), and we love it! We have had no issues with breakage in the three months we have had them, but we don't have a dishwasher, so I can't speak for that. Very happy!

Just what I was looking for!

My daughter has a lovely home and uses lots of color. Trying to find dishes to go along with her decor was not easy. Most white dinnerware was either too plain, too industrial or too modern. The little pearls circling the plates and bowls add just the right touch. They haven't been put into action so I hope that they will withstand many dinner parties to come.

I received an 8 piece set for my wedding back in 2011. I have been using the set for 1.5 years. In that time I have not had chipping, cracking, or any issues with the dishware whatsoever. My husband and sister are really hard on the dishes and still, not an issue. We heat things up in the microwave with them, and use the dishwasher where they are knocked around. Still not a single issue.
I LOVE this set. I have never loved such a simple, elegant design more. Buy these, you will not regret it!

I absolutely love the classic look of these dishes. I have never found something I love the look of more. I haven't had any problems with chipping but I don't use these dishes on a regular basis. I use them for company and holidays. I also have never found that they get too hot in the microwave but I never heat anything up on dishes for more than a couple minutes. I hope PB carriers these dishes for many many more year so I can get some more sets just incase of dishes breaking. The only thing that would make these dishes better would be if they were not so delicate so I could use them everyday.

Dishes chips and get very hot - DO NOT BUY

We received the Emma set for our wedding this past spring and we are now replacing them because that are chipped. Just placing the dishes on top of each of each other and they chip. They also get very hot in the microwave, not just saying this. The food is still cold and the plate burns your hands.

very disappointing

I ordered 10 place settings of the Emma dishes approximately a year ago. I am so disappointed in the quality. At least 5 - 7 pieces have chipped and cracked. The other day I bumped one of my coffee mugs on the cabinet and the entire handle broke off in my hand. Like other reviewers, I love the look of the dishes but the quality is terrible.

Would love the dishes if the quality was better

We registered for and received these dishes as wedding gifts in 2008. Over the past 4 1/2 years, they have chipped and discolored. I absolutely love the design of these dishes, but I am terribly disappointed in the quality. Within the first year we returned a few of the bowls and plates as they began to have a swirling pattern in the glaze, but the replacements were of a slightly different hue and we gave up replacing them one by one. What stinks is that we now have service for 12, plus a lot of serving pieces in this set, but they are discolored and chipped and it would be costly to discard these dishes and upgrade to another set at this point.

These dishes are definitely pretty, but they chip so easily. 6 out of 10 of my cereal bowls are chipped, and one of my large serving bowls as well. For the price, I would recommend purchasing something of better quality.

I just purchased the Emma dinner plates and bowls, and i love them! Certainly a set that i will have for years to come. They are classic and simple, with just enough subtle detail to keep them from being boring

I bought two sets of these a couple months ago and have been using them everyday since. There isn't anything that I don't love about them. They are perfect for everyday use, yet stylish enough to dress up a special occassion table. Since my initial purchase I'm seriously considering purchasing another set and getting rid of my fine china (that I use only 2-3 times a year).

I love this dinnerware - I just wish there were more pieces - like a small plate - maybe 6" in diameter......good for snacks or dessert :)

I loved the Emma dinnerware when I first bought it a few years ago, but it has not stood the test of time. It chips very easily and doesn't do well for everyday use. I bought many of the serving dishes as well, but have also been disappointed in them.

Love the solid weight of this dinnerware. The raised "Dots" remind me of poke-a-dots! Very fun! Ordered in white, but a little disappointed, it is more like cream. Not bright white like the pictures. Still quite happy with the quality.

After less than a year of service I am replacing my Emma Dinnerware. It chips very easily, especially the cereal bowls. It is too hot to handle with bare hands after removing from the microwave. Silverware leaves marks on the dishes.
