Cute with a downfall

I like this bottle stopper... it's cute, but it's a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, so just be prepared for that. Also, if you leave it in a wine bottle then take it out, it starts to get this crusty white stuff on the stopper- so make sure you don't leave it in too long or clean it right away when you take it out. Kind of high maintenance for a bottle stopper... but I like the design and it does it's job.

Love the item, but BROKEN upon opening.

I purchased this item as a small, Christmas gift to hand out. When the person opened it, the Eiffel Tower part had completely detached from the stopper. This should not happen with a Pottery Barn item since you are paying extra for nice quality things.
Very unfortunate, because I absolutely loved this bottle stopper.

I gave this as a hostess gift over the holidays to family that loves everything about France. It was the hit of the party! All the other guests wanted to know where I purchased it... Pottery Barn of course!!!!! I love all your items!

I had purchased 4 of the wine stoppers for a small gift for Christmas. 2 of them came damaged. I did not bother returning them, but was disappointed when I opened them... The Eiffel tower was not attached to the actual stopper. And the engraved one I purchased- the glass was scratched and the monogram "D" was crooked.

I bought this Eiffel Tower Wine Bottle Stopper as an engagement present for my "second daughter" who visited Paris and was surprised by an engagement proposal -which she of course accepted. This was a wonderful gift to send as a reminder of that trip and that special day.

The first one I ordered was not made correctly and didn't fit the bottle. I called in and spoke to a very nice, helpful women who apologized for the inconvenience and sent me another.
The second one works (somewhat OK) but is still inferior. It still does not sit straight. The quality is very poor. I am very disappointed in this item, especially since it was a gift to someone. I ended up getting a different gift.
I don't know if I would trust purchasing anything from PB again.
