Duncan Stripe Duvet Cover & Sham
Satin weaving - a technique in which warp threads are woven over the fabric's weft - brings rich color and a silky luster to this bedding. 100% combed cotton. 350 thread count. Duvet cover has a hidden button closure and interior ties to keep the duvet in place. Sham has an envelope closure; insert is sold separately. Machine wash. Duvet swatches, below, are available for $7 each. We will provide a merchandise refund for duvet swatches if they're returned within 30 days. Catalog / Internet Only. Imported.

My husband and I had different ideas of what would be good for our master bedroom. Paisley and floral was not an option for him. The gold stripe on this duvet matches our wall color perfectly and was a great compromise. We are both happy!

Nice bedding

This duvet was a little more gold than I expected, but I'm still happy with it. The size is perfect for our new king bed. It covers the sides nicely unlike a lot of other duvets that don't hang over the edges far enough.

Nothing special about the quality thread count but the colors of this duvet set are rich, warm and welcoming. You can trust the stylings of Pottery Barn and the standard quality of their products with this bedding.

Colors not exactly like in pic

Before purchasing this, I noticed that some people said the colors were a bit off, and others said they were exactly like the picture. I purchased it anyway, hoping the people who were disappointed had weird computer screens or vision. Alas, I have found that they are correct. The colors are not nearly as bright as in the pic - instead, they are muted by a yellow hue (all of them - the red, the greens, etc.). I will be returning.
Also, perhaps because of the color, perhaps because the stripes seem much more thin in person than in the online pics, but on my bed, this duvet looks like something that belongs in a college dorm, with a tad bit of hippie-ness. In the online pics, it looks so stunning. Oh well.
I love PB, but just not this duvet.

The colors are bold, and is exactly what I wanted for our extra bedroom. The duvet was large enough to cover the 7 in. mattress to the bed skirt.

The colors are rich and warm and true to the online image and the fabric feels soft. It does wrinkle, but I'm using it only to fold at the foot of the guest bed over a solid bedspread. My only disappointment is that both the duvet cover and the Euro sham are larger than their inserts by about 4", making it impossible to achieve that luxurious puffy/fluffy look seen in catalogs and magazines. It is frustrating that bedding sizes are not standard from manufacturer to manufacturer.

I would highly recommend the Duncan Stripe Duvet. My husband was pleased with the stripes and felt the duvet was a good investment for the bedroom. Easy enough to match the duvet with sheets and other pillows sold either at Pottery Barn or elsewhere.
I ordered the euro shams yet the standard shams arrived with order.

I love the duvet just was disappointed when I put it on the bed it had some stains on it so have to return when I get near a store, the closest store to me is 2 hours away, but I will replace it with the same one the quality is really nice for the price.

First Duvet Cover

Have always used a quilt or comforter before, and we love the feel of the duvet. Many colors in this piece, and blends well with everything we already had in the room. My husband appreciates the stripes, over something more feminine. I will probably sneak in one small pillow in little more feminine print. Thanks for a great product.

This was my first purchase from Pottery Barn. I was amazed at the quality of the fabric and the colors were very true to the photos on line. Plus it was on sale which was a bonus for me! I will definitely be a regular customer.

Loved the look of this bedding, but when I washed it wrinkled heavily and I had to iron and still could not get all of the wrinkled out completely.

Great comforter for guests

I do not own this comforter set, but my friend has it in her guest room. Last spring, I stayed in her guest room for about a week and loved this comforter. It was not only made of good materials the pattern works well for women and men. My husband is not a fan of flowery comforters so he even commented on how nice it is.

I was really torn between using this print and the madrias print in the coarl color. I went with the plaid/madrias but only because it went better wtih the rest of the room. The fabric on the shams/duvet is very nice and the colors are just as pictured online, very warm and vibrant enough while not being "too much". Great gender nuetral bedding for a guest room or master bedroom!
