I couldn't have been happier when the chest arrived. The packaging is substantial and there was no concern on my part about anything being damaged in transit. The quality is great; the color and size are perfect for my needs. I particularly like the distressed finish - just the right amount - not overdone. The piece is well worth the price. It arrived just before the holidays and my guests have already paid compliments on it.

Great for the guest bedroom

This chest is really pretty and makes a great TV stand for my guest bedroom. I wanted my guests to be able to use it for a small dresser as well but the drawers are not tall enough for regular folded clothes (maybe just undergarments and pajamas). I'm still glad I purchased this chest. It's a great green color and style.

Purchased the Daniella Chest as an entry way piece and it looks gorgeous. Much more beautiful in person than in the web picture. I placed a nice crystal vase with fresh flowers on it along with a medium size jewerly dish that I am using to place my house keys on. Glad I purchased this piece!!

I bought this for my entry way. I think it's a slightly darker green than in the picture but it matches perfectly with my decor. I've received so many compliments on it.

My favorite piece of furniture!!!

I absolutely love this new piece of furniture I bought for the formal living room. I wanted a non traditional end table to use for storage and this piece works perfect. The color is even more amazing. It's gotta rustic look to it which fits perfectly with the room. I do wish the drawers were a little deeper but I can work with what I have. It is definitely my favorite pottery barn piece that I have=)

A Little Disappointing

Overall, I'm a huge fan of Pottery Barn products and generally love the quality. This particular piece was a bit disappointing, though, as it doesn't look nearly as elegant in reality as it does in the pictures. The wood is nicked and gouged; its clearly supposed to be this way and was not damage due to shipping, but the product description and pictures on the website did not clearly convey that this was the style of the chest.

We ordered the Daniella chest and nightstand for the master bedroom. I wanted the red, and my fiance wanted the Zen brown. Zen it was. After we had them in place, he said, "Hmmm, maybe we should've tried the red." The brown really looks black, but is so classy and pretty. Color is so dark, dust is visible hours after dusting. The drawers are good for storage and it's a well made piece. Would buy this piece again..but maybe in red!

I've had mine for about 2 years now & it is the most lovely piece of furniture I've purchased from Pottery Barn. I got mine back when they sold them in black and have used it in my entryway. Every time someone comes over I get rave compliments about how pretty it is.
