Covington Glass Shelf
We designed our Covington Collection in the style of antique fittings found on turn-of-the-century trains. Each piece is crafted of naturally strong and rust-resistant solid brass. 18" or 24" long Cast of brass and stainless steel thickly plated for strength. Shelf is made of tempered safety glass. Hand-applied finish.

size deceiving

I recently redid my bathroom and finding a glass shelf to match the bathroom accessories was impossible. Additionally, it could not be more than 20 inches wides. I was so excited to see this 18" shelf by Pottery Barn - BUT it is NOT 18" - that is the distance between the holes on the glass and the overall length is 24". I thought I read everything carefully. Returning at Pottery Barn is difficult as there is no stores and not worth it by the time you ship these back. Otherwise, they are pretty.

Nice shelf if you can mount it

This shelf is very nice looking. However, the instructions for mounting are lacking and a template would have saved a lot of time and frustration. The screws and anchors that came with it do not fit one another: the screws are too large to fit, which is very frustrating to find after the anchors are in the wall and you cannot use the matching finish screws with them. The screws have a very shallow slot (not phillips head) and stripped out well before they were fully screwed in. Very disappointed in PB mounting hardware. Off we go to the hardware store to try to get these installed.

Nice shelf

A very nice glass shelf, however had a template been provided for drilling two level holes in the wall, this would have been an easy project; instead it was a frustration. Pottery Barn should ask homeowners to edit their directions with common sense suggestions to make the job go easier for the next person.

Shelf is very nice. Gives my bathroom a spa like feel. However the box that it came in was all caved in and bent. Surprised to find out that the shelf was in perfect condition.
