Beautiful, but massive

These chairs and table were delivered yesterday and are beautiful and just as pictured in the catalog. My problem is that they are so heavy my 74 yo mother and my children
10 yo and younger can't pull and scooch their own chairs in. They are beautiful but not very functional if your family includes children and the elderly. I will need to return these and find a lighter more delicate option. Just haven't figured out how to go about that process yet.
