Colton Woven Trunks
Antique wooden sea chests were the models for our woven rattan trunks. Built for strength and storage, each is tightly woven by hand, and has a lid that closes and latches with decorative bronze-finished brackets. Small: 16" wide x 11" deep x 7.5" high Medium: 24" wide x 14" deep x 9.5" high Large: 30" wide x 18" deep x 18" high Handwoven of rattan. Latches are for decorative use, does not secure product. I'd been looking for a lidded basket like this for a while, and was glad to have found this one. It's sturdy, nicely crafted and well-priced. Love the color and the finish on the latch.

Good Looking Storage That is Easy to Get To

I purchased the large basket to put in front of three windows where I had a weird empty gap and I needed enough space to store some pillows. It looks great in my ocean themed guest room. The decorative latches make it easy to get into and the hinges inside keep the lid propped up while you add/remove it's contents. Be warned the dust permeates the lid to an extent so some of the contents inside will get dusty if left for long periods of time. I just put my pillows in bags to keep them clean. Color is a good match to the picture online.

Love it. Looks rustic, quite sturdy and very useful. Not dust proof, but great for magazines or other things sealed in plastic bags you don't use much. I have it under my buffet console, flanked by 2 solid wood PB dark stained boxes I got years ago, which match the hardware on this perfectly.
Another useful thing, is that it has "feet" at each corner, so you can stick felt pads to them solidly for pushing around on a wood floor.

I have all three sizes and they look great! I love old fashion and rustic pieces and these work well for me. They are darker then I would like, but they seem durable as I have mine filled to the top and stacked on top of each other. I live in a small space with little cabinet space in my kitchen, so I have mine in my dining room filled with dry goods. So, I would definitely recommend these in all sizes.

I'm glad I decided to order the large Colton Trunk. It fits perfectly under my console table and I am able to store out of season blankets/pillows. Well made, stylish and functional. I am very happy.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of all the trunks and the very nice finish. I would definitely recommend them to any one wanting some storage.

Colton Trunks are great. I got the smallest one and it looks so cute in my son's rustic looking room. The color is on the dark side with a little green tint in the crevices. Hard to describe, but it gives a rich look to the basket.

I purchased the Colton Woven Trunk to place on my kitchen counter to hold all of the clutter that used to end up on the counter, keys, glasses, receipts, etc. I love the look of the trunk and the lid that keeps everything out of view. Perfect size for the counter top and very decorative as well. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!

I ordered the small and medium sized trunks to fill space on top of an armoire. The trunks I received were a little darker than I imagined and would have liked them to be a shade lighter to create more contrast with the wood of the armoire. Despite the color issue, these trunks are a great value for the price and can be used in any setting.

I have been looking for something like this that goes with my decor yet serves the purpose wonderfully and i finally found it. It fits all the sheets and there is still room for a little more. it the best thing to have in an small space and still give it that old world charm of a big farm house to the place.

The advertising was better than the result ... not quite as detailed as we hoped; not the rich quality that Pottery Barn often delivers. Sent them back and ordered an additional seagrass stool instead.
