Colorful Tapas Dinnerware
Artisans in Portugal press woven surface textures onto terra cotta, then layer them with vibrant glazes. Different colors in each set create a cheerful, casual ambiance. Oval Plate: 9.5" wide x 6.5" deep Mini Round: 5" diameter Snack Bowl: 4.5" diameter, 2.5" high; 8 fluid ounces Salt Cellar: 2.5" diameter, 2" high; 2 fluid ounces Terra cotta is hand-pressed and glazed in Portugal. Embossed woven-burlap textural pattern. Set of 4 Cool includes dark blue, light blue, turquoise and green. Set of 4 Warm includes bright red, orange, rust and yellow. Microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

I love this dinnerware. The quality is excellent and it adds such a great "tone" to the kitchen counter, dinning table or wherever it rests. It definitely adds to the whole dinning experience

Beautiful color combinations

It makes a cheerful and vibrant table setting and the size of dishes are quite useful for other purposes than tapas. I purchased a combination of warm and cool colors and I often mix-match them. I found some of the dishes had rough finishings and not sure whether it's from a process of handcrafting. Other than that, it's a lovely set for everyday use.

I am usually very happy with my Pottery Barn purchases. But I'm sorry to say these plates don't look at all as nice in real life as they do online. I was buying them as a gift for my newlywed daughter, who was looking for some appetizer plates. They were uneven and rough on the bottom, and of the four "warm" colors in the set, only one was a rich color. I returned them to the store, but didn't get a credit to my account there. I was told I'd get a credit on my account in the mail. What I actually received was a Pottery Barn merchandise card to be used for a later purchase. This is not a credit to my account. Needless to say, I'm not happy, and expect to call Pottery Barn to request an actual refund.

I thought the bowls were attractive and well-sized for our kids but when they arrived one was broken, and they were even packaged in a box within a box. It was disappointing.

This dinnerware is absolutely beautiful. I purchased the Cool and Warm Sets to be used together. I am a little concerned with using them though because they seem a bit fragile. I had to return a few of the bowls from my original order as they arrived in pieces. My replacements took a little longer to receive than I had hoped. All in All.. I am happy with this purchase. The unique shape, colors, and "look" will be so pretty on my table... I just hope they last! :)
