Nicely made but rough

Great rug - nicely made and clean look for a good price. The only downside for me is the very rough sisal material. You wouldn't want to have to sit on the rug or even walk across it in bare feet! Our prior rug was sea grass and that was much softer.

Great accent rugs

Our home is a very open floor plan with hard wood flooring, these color bound sisal rugs are perfect accent pieces to our main carpeting! We are thrilled with the accuracy of the color and the quality!

Quailty of the rug surface seems fine thus far; however I was very disappointed with the unmitered corners of the binding -- this cheapened the overall appearance.

Great but be careful

We love this rug, it is perfect for under the dining room table, the color is beautiful and the quality of the rug is very nice. But please be careful with the rug, seems as though it stains VERY easily! We accidently spilled about 3 cups of water from the Christmas tree stand on the edge of the rug and now there is a stain, which is unfortunate as it is brand new. I didn't think that water would stain such a high-quality rug, I can only imagine what our children will do to it. Overall I would recommend the rug, but just be careful about spilling anything on it. Also would not recommend it for areas where people will be down on the floor (ie., little kids) as it is not on the softer side, but makes sense for under a table.

Rug looks great with the color border. Obviously, it is not soft and would not be comfortable for bare feet or for babies to crawl on, etc.

I love the texture of this sisal rug. It lays nice and flat, vacuums up nicely (don't use brushes) and looks like it was very expensive!

I was originally sent the same rug in the incorrect color - Customer Service was wonderful to work with and corrected the mistake right away and handled all of the shipping/return details. The rug looks great and I'm very pleased overall!

This is a perfect sisal for us. I got the 8 X10 and it fills our living area. It really is beautiful and nicer than I even expected. It isn't very comfortable under foot but I never expected it to be.

This rug is beautiful in my room. It is easy to vacuum which was one thing that concerned me when I ordered it. It is also comfortable to sit on. It seems to be well made. I'm happy with it.

Pottery Barn sisal rugs are nice quality. I bought the rug for my kitchen and am sure the rug will hold up to the traffic. The binding color, terra cotta, is more salmon that brick, which is pictured on both the website and catalog. Unfortunately, I could not see the rug in the store because the color choice was a catalog/website offer only. Other than the color being off, it’s a nice quality rug.

I bought the Sisal rug to match a new set for my family room, well it match perfectly and my home has a more contemporary style. The colors are just gorgeous and the natural material gives to the room a very earthy look. I was a little concern about the care of the rug but so far so good and I have to little doggies!!!

I am very disappointed with this product. The dog threw up water on the rug and we used club soda to clean it up. Unfortunately, the rug turned darker in the area where we tried to clean. I thought the spot would fade once the spot dried but it did not. I have bought from pottery barn and PB Teen and have always been happy with the products.

I got this rug for my daughter. she needed something to protect the carpet in the hall of her new apartment. this rug is perfect. it looks great,and is very durable. we loved that it already had a rubber backing. thanks again potterybarn,you have never let me down.

We use this rug as the doormat once you enter our home, and it is stunning and functional. The sisal is a tighter knit, it's woven tightly and is firmer under your foot than a jute, so I would not use the larger sisal in a space where my family would lounge or play on the floor - but it's perfect in the entryway of our home. The blue border is lovely, a classic and dusty blue. Very pleased, yet again, with my online PB purchases.

Just received the chino color-bound sisal rug and love it. Perfect for our bedroom in vacation home. The actual rug is a little darker in color than I thought it would be and the edging is brown, not the light tan it appears to be in the online pictures. But works perfectly with our color scheme. This rug is "scratchy" on bare feet so we'll use mats by the bed. All in all, very happy - oh,and the edges lay flat- yippee!
