Colby Accent Stool
Like an impromptu side table, our sturdy stool makes a versatile addition to the bedroom. Small: 16.5" wide x 16.5" deep x 18" high Medium: 16.5" wide x 16.5" deep x 22.5" high Handcrafted from kiln-dried mahogany. Sturdy construction gives it a rough-hewn look. Seats are detailed with mortise-and-tenon joinery and reinforced with stretchers. Rustic chestnut finish is gently distressed for the look of an antique. These stools are a perfect addition to our home .. They have a classy rustic look that we love and they are actually quite versital. We use them as "end tables" next to chairs for guests to place their snacks/drinks on or as stools for extra seating. They are also perfect for my photo shoots when I need varied heights in groups!

I have bought several pieces of furniture from

These are the best stools. High quality, beautiful finish that goes with any style, and the perfect size. I am using them for end tables in my front room. Great price for such a wonderful piece of furniture.

I use this stool at my kitchen desk instead of a big bulky chair. The wood details make it look special and it is perfect for the occassional need to sit. Sturdy, but light enough to pick up and move easily.

These stools are being used in my home as occasional tables in the living room. They are sturdy and the rounded edges make me feel they are safe for my 2 year old to play around. The weathered look is great and they are light enough to easily be placed where needed. They were great for serving as posts for drinks for holiday guests. And inexpensive to boot!

I purchased the short stool to fill a corner spot in my bathroom. The wood is dark brown and distressed. You can use this stool to sit on, but it would also make a nice plant stand. I ordered it online and counted on the accuracy of the photo. It looks exactly as pictured.

I would give these stools 5 stars except the finish almost appears to be "fake". The distressing is very heavy and not very random. They serve the purpose as occasional seating/side tables.

Sturdy stool, but artificial looking finish

My wife and I have spent the past year restoring an 1837 "Armory House" in historic Harpers Ferry, WV. We had one last accessory needed for our living room, which is mostly filled with rustic and primitive antiques. When we saw this stool, we were excited and thought it would make a perfect rustic side table for our arm chair. I was very disappointed when it arrived. It's a well built, sturdy stool. Its build quality was not the source of my disappointment. What I was disappointed in was its almost hoaky distressing and finish. This stool in no way appears to be hand hewn. It looks like some sort of distressing machine was used in an attempt to make it look hand hewn. Instead, I think the finish appears artificial and overly shiny. I have come to expect more from Pottery Barn over the years.

I've seen this in the catalog and it looked so nice. It sits next to my bed as a magazine stand. It sure is a beautiful piece and the wood is very rich looking. Nice and shiny.

These stools are gorgeous, rich in color and very versatile. They are also surprisingly sturdy. I placed one in the grandkids room to stack their baby blankets on..looks so cute. The larger one I placed in the breakfast nook as a newspaper catch. These can be used in so many rooms and are a very nice asset to any room. Light enough to move around and sturdy enough to sit on.

For me this stool is a perfect fit(under the desk), I do not have much space. I love the cross bar look on the bottom of the stool and the distress markings on the stool.
