Closer to a Torture Device than a Pillow

I bought these pillows five months ago, and have hated them every night since. Going to throw them out and replace. From the first night, the down came out through the case, point first, like needles into your face. It has become a ritual, every night, to check the pillows for escaping feathers and pull them out... but still, I'm awoken by at least one needle every night. One pillow is barely half stuffed at this point, and yet, the down still comes out. Every single night.
Buy anything else. Consider not using a pillow at all, before buying these. A rock would be better.

Pillow keeps its shape and looks good on the bed. Not comfy to me for sleeping on as it is a little too high and stiff for me and gives me a neck pull. I think it has a bit of an odor to it, also. Not sure if I would purchase again.

We are so pleased with these pillows! We were originally nervous about purchasing these pillows (we'd had a bad experience with another company), but PB's pillows are fantastic. They have wonderful loft and are high quality. The firmness is about a medium (not to soft, not to firm). We highly recommend these pillows.

I was not overly pleased with the down pillows I ordered. They had a chemical odor. After sleeping on them one night I had to wash them and dry them several times in the dryer to be able to sleep on them. They are OK now but I will not order these down pillows again.

Nice quality but not as expected

The pillows are comfortable and very soft but they are not as filled pr plush as I expected. I had gone on vacation and had these really really great pillows and I was trying to duplicate those. Although theses are nice and I slept well, I will continue my search for the "vacation pillows". The Pottery Barn quality is definitely there but I will probably pass these down to my four year old and continue my search. I will continue to be an avid Pottery Barn shopper!

Along with the new duvet cover and sham set, I bought my son two new micromax pillows. This was all for his [new] first apt. out of college. When he slept on the new pillows, he loved them and had not realized how much he needed new pillows!

Micromax Pillow is amazing!

I purchased a micromax pillow based on reviews I read here and I'm so glad I did - thanks everyone! I wanted to replace my memory foam pillow because I thought it was contributing to neck pain, didn't want to purchase down because I wake up congested when I sleep on down, and thought well, I guess I have to at least try a polyester pillow to remind myself why I hate them. I was so wrong with this pillow. It is incredibly soft but also supports - conforms and supports neck/head - really amazing stuff. Not like a typical "polyester pillow". I highly recommend it and will be replacing all my pillows with micromax from PB.

The Micromax standard size pillow is very comfortable for back or side sleeping. It is not overly firm, so it fluffs up easily if you change your sleep position during the night. I used to buy primaloft products for a long time, and they were very good. However, these pillows with the micromax are the newest technology and are better. Micromax is even more similar to the feel and responsiveness of down than primaloft. One might have trouble telling the MicroMax and the down pillows apart...the down is perhaps a bit more dense. Pottery Barn used to sell the primaloft pillows. These MicroMax pillows are a very nice improvement on that and at a good price.

Don't want down due to allergies, but want the softness of it. Micromax is the best pillow I've ever slept on (and I'm picky). Great for side- and stomach-sleepers. Don't stop selling these, please!

I ordered the goose down for my king size sleeping pillows and the Micromax for the decorative pillows. The micromax is actually very soft and i believe somewhat more comfortable then the actual good down pillows. In the future I may only order the micromax pillows.

I purchased 4 of these pillows, 2 for each of my children's full size beds. They are much more comfortable and more resilient than the down alternative pillows they previously had. I have purchased better quality down pillows before, and they were softer, but at a much higher price. If you want a down pillow and don't want to spend a lot of money, I think these pillows are a good value.

The classic goose-down & micromax pillow is truly a godsend. I had such a hard time sleeping through the night before I got it and always had back pain. It's so soft, supportive and comfortable I sleep great every night & am now pain free. My husband also thanked me for buying him one too! He loves it just as much as I do! Thanks for making such a great product!!!
