Pieces Didn't Fit

My husband struggled to put the Chloe Console Table together because the pieces didn't fit correctly. He had to use all kinds of tools (it's a good thing he has them!) in order to MAKE the pieces fit together. It took him hours, much longer than it should have for such a simple piece of furniture. After it was done, we realized that from all the pushing and pulling to make the pieces fit that the wood split in several areas. And the legs still aren't lined up correctly. I should have returned the table when we realized none of the pieces fit together. I still have a mind to send it back. I have always been so pleased with my Pottery Barn purchases, but this one was a loser.

Perfect table

I ordered this table on Tuesday to use as a stand for our flat screen TV and besides arriving a day early (Thursday instead of Friday) it was also super easy to put together. Incredibly sturdy and well made. Looks really nice too! We bought the black and it couldn't be more perfect for our breakfast room! Thanks Pottery Barn!!!
