Loved the look, but

I was excited to find this rug because of the look and the texture, it is really soft but it gets dirty very easily. I have it (natural color) in my living room, I have had it less than a year and I feel like I already need a new rug. It looks so dirty and I've never spilled anything on it. I am definitely dissapointed in it.

Flatbraid Basketweave Jute Rug

I ordered the Bound, Flatbraid Jute Rug with a straw/beige colored border, and really like the texture and color of this rug. The neutral border goes with all of the colors in my living room (like yellows and blues), and the rug itself is very rich in texture, the jute is a soft honey-brown color, and it is very soft and pliable to walk on. I am very happy with both the "look" and "feel" of this rug!

The rug came rolled up in a plastic cover. I put it down on the floor about a week ago. It still hasn't flattened out and there are severe puckers, so much so that I trip on them when I'm walking over it! The quality is just ok. Fine for a bedroom or low traffic area, but I would NOT put it in a family room or such. I'm going to return it.

like the rug.....but,

I like the rug, but am unsure how it will hold up. It is underneath my dining room table, and it is already pulling in a couple of places not underneath the chairs. The colors and the fabric are nice. The fabric is soft, not hard jute.

Not durable at all. Use only for rooms that have little to no traffic. Sad disappointment! Guess that's why it was on sale for such a discount.

Nice looking area rug

It looks great. However, after having it only 3 days, my cleaning people vacuumed it (which you are supposed to do) with a rotary head (like for carpets) and many of the pieces of jute started to ravel. i was so shocked when I got home and saw this. I am a bit afraid to vacuum it but will try just using an attachment for hardwood floors so as not to shred it any more.

This rug was awful

I bought this rug less than 6 months ago & am throwing it out to the trash today.
It wears awful. I had it in my living room and the fibers of the basketweave immediately loosened and tore. I was constantly snipping the loose fibers. It's finally gotten to the point that I am simply trashing it.

So soft

I love this rug it was so much softer then I thought it would be..thanks to the chenille. I didn't realize online or from the catalog photos that the brown and creme are weaved together but it was exactly what I was looking for.
I used it as an area rug under our bed.
I want to order the blue for the other bedroom.
