Built with substantial design and traditional styling, our Chelsea Floor Lamp Base features a weighted foundation and a telescoping design that lets you adjust its height with the twist of aturnkey. 11" diameter; adjusts from 51" to 71" high. Cast of steel, zinc and brass. Pair with our large PB Basic Linen Shade (shown) or any of our large Mix & Match(R) shades (all shades sold separately). 3-way switch. The lamp is beautiful and sturdy. The finish however was imperfect in a couple of places. I didn't want to deal with returning it, etc. so I kept it. I hold Pottery Barn to a high standard and expect perfection, so in this regard I was disappointed.

the lamp was advertized as having a three-way switch and it does not. I can't even put a 150 w bulb in it. It is for reading so this is not good. I was also not aware it was so heavy.

We bought the Chelsea floor lamp in bronze and are more than satisfied with it. The lamp is very solid and was easy to assemble. The large drum shade works very well with it The fact that we can adjust its height is deffinitely a plus. Purchasing it on sale was the biggest plus of all. Great lamp!

Wobbly table lamp

We bought the Chelsea glass table/floor lamp which you can only get from the store, and when putting it together the glass tabletop will not tighten down, is poorly constructed. Husband had to make a cardboard bushing to stabilize the glass. Wouldn't think you'd have to do that on a $300 lamp! We'll see if the cardboard bushing withstands the test of time, if not its going back.

Bought the antique pewter finish. Love it - nice and heavy, classy and elegant! I also own a pair of the matching table lamps that I purchased a few years ago and they still look as nice as the day I bought them. Can't go wrong with the Chelsea lamps!

I love this lamp ..So many floor lamps are short and we need edsomething tall. THe adjustable apparutus works great.This fits our office/spare bedroom great. easy to clean. We used the medium shade even though it was suggested to use large.. The medium works great. Will go with any type of decor

I received the lamp about a month ago and it has had little use. I have another just like it that has been very functional and that I love. However, this new one flickered for a few minutes after I turned it on. I turned it off, let it cool, tightened the already tight bulb and tried again. This time - no flickering - so I'm not sure about it. Will use it a few more times to see if it's OK - if not, I'll send it back.

This is a heavy, well-made lamp base which is both classical and contemporary and would go well with almost any decor. The bronze color works with our eclectic mix and is nice for almost any lamp shade you put on it. I also got the smaller, matching desk lamp for a console in the room. Nice pair!!

I was looking for a floor lamp for my study and decided on this one and I absolutely made the right decision. This floor lamp adds elegance and functionality at the same time to my study. It provides ample light and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I am very pleased....

I had to reorder the base because the first one came with scratches on the base and a small stain - It felt like there was no quality control on the first base sent.

We purchased this lamp in the brass finish with the recommeded shade. It is a very classic, solid look, and I love the finish. Easy to put together. Small scratches from adjusting the height.
