This headboard is very nice and is just what I was expecting it to look like. I was hesitant to order it because of the reviews about the color but it is beautiful in my guest room and is not yellow. It is "antique white" just as advertised. I would recommend it!

Excellent quality. Very well made and very heavy. The finish color of 'antique white' tends to have a greenish tint. Having a Pottery Barn bed frame is a must. I bought a modifier for the bed frame I already had and it did not work out at all. Had to buy the PB bed frame afterall. The style is very nice. Just the look I was going for - beach house.

Great but not white (be aware)

The Charlotte bedroom set is beautiful fourniture. For me there is a problem though, and that is that I thought it was white with distressed/antiqued edges. It's very yellowish compared to how it looks online. If you have white baseboards/moulding and a light neutral on your walls, it won't look so good. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with the yellowish colour and I'm goingn to try to paint them and retain the antiqued corners and edges using sandpaper. Lesson learned. Get a swatch.

Nice headboard

We purchased this headboard in the king size with two of the matching dressers in the antique white/cream color for our master bedroom. They are holding up nicely and look great in the room. Anyone purchasing this piece should be aware that the antique white looks like more like cream with a yellowish tint than white. If you are really looking for white furniture, do not buy this, you will be disappointed. We were looking for white but I like the color anyway and it looks nice in the room.

I LOVE this headboard. I got the set with dresser and nightstand and it is just wonderful. As with the other posts, the color has a yellowish tint to it and is not actually white, but I really like it and am more than pleased.

This is a great piece of furniture. It is well made and sturdy. I have two major complaints. The color is not white in the slightest. Make sure you review the color swatch before you order it. It is a very pale mellow yellow. In some lights it has a yellow/gray hue to it. In person the headboard is more "distressed" and it looks a lot "older" than it appears in the photos online. My second complaint is that it will not fit to any standard NON-Pottery Barn metal frame. I think the website does not do an accurate job in informing you that you will need the extra kit. I'm extremely annoyed that I have to wait 3 days for a kit that in my opinion should have come with the headboard in the first place. I think that Pottery Barn stores should carry this adjuster kit in all of their stores as well. Other than those issues I am very satisfied. Customer service is very helpful in resolving any issues you may have.

I was so excited to receive this headboard, but was sadly disappointed when it arrived. The shape and style is just as beautiful as pictured in the catalog, however...the color is NOTHING like the "antique white" they show. It has a strange yellowish/green hue to it. It matches NOTHING I own in off white furniture. PB was very accomodating on the phone, but I am still waiting for the delivery company to come pick it up. I am promised a FULL refund, thankfully.

I was so excited when we finally recieved the headboard and rest of our brand new furniture.... when it was done and i entered the room my smile immmediatly withdrew! This headboard on line is gorgeous and beautiful but when i recieved it the color was yellow tinted and i immediatly am trying to return it!

Bummer About The Color...

I bought the Charlotte BR Set for my daughter and was SORELY disappointed with the color...the furniture appears YELLOW, not antique white! Upon returning, I found the customer service to be EXTRAORDINARILY helpful & I would definitely order from PB again.

I was so excited to get this headboard as I had wanted it a long time and saved up, but when I got it I was very disappointed with the color. It is a deep cream color with almost yellow/tan hues. I guess it could still be considered off white to some, but it was completely different than the pictures online and in the catalog. I'm so sad that it's not going to work out for me. I am happy though that they are refunding me the shipping and everything since it was much different than I expected. It has definitely made me question if I will buy something again online from them without seeing it in person.
