Charleston Vintage Clock
This clock's classic pocket-watch design makes it a perfect alarm clock. 6" wide x 2.5" deep x 7.5" high Case is crafted of iron sheeting with a polished-nickel finish. Face is crafted of aluminum sheeting and glass. Features glow-in-the-dark tips on the hour and minute hands. Requires one AA battery (not included). Back plate has two removable screws for battery installation. Alarm clock function. Catalog / Internet Only.

Nice Little Clock

When I purchased this clock, I was after a nice, bright silver clock, larger than I was seeing available elsewhere, that also had an alarm. The alarm tone is non-jarring, but quite loud enough to wake me, even through my husband's snoring. To my surprise, the hands are glow-in-the-dark, too, a nice plus, except that it's a very faded glow - probably why it's not noted in the clock's description. Overall I love the clock, it suits my needs perfectly, and looks wonderful with my 'Charleston'-themed bedroom. Thanks, Pottery Barn, for another quality product.

Very nice clock

I purchased this clock because it features a glow-in-the-dark tip on the hour and minute hands. I love the classic southern appearance and its very easy to operate. This clock is very quiet with no ticking noise. I love everything from Potterybarn.

I adored this clock online, but was very disappointed upon receiving. The shiny finish is striated, not smooth, and it gives the clock a cheap appearance. There were also 2 very small chips in the finish. If I loved the clock, I may have just lived with this. Overall, I did not feel the quality was up to Pottery Barn standards, so I returned.

I was very disappointed with this product. The illuminated hands are so light they can't be seen in the dark, and the alarm did not work properly. Although the clock is decorative and looked great in our bedroom it didn't serve the purpose I needed.

The other comments are right... the glow in the dark feature is not bright enought to read in the dark. And after a few months the alarm started going off for no reason and when I tried to turn it off the knob broke and now I cant change the time on the clock so it is worthless now.

This clock is beautiful however I was unable to get the back open to place the battery. I took it into the store and the salespeople were unable to do it either. Surprisingly they just offered me a refund. Very disappointed as I really loved it.

I like the large face and traditional numbers. It is sturdy and stylish. However, the face does not illuminate in the evening making it difficult to read. I was under the impression that the clock had a lighted dial.

Not what I thought it would be

I really wanted a clock in the bedroom that I could look at in my dark bedroom to see what time it is in the middle of the night. Unfortunately - the hands on the clock did not light up enough to be able to see the time. I have other Pottery Barn clocks throughout my house that I really love - just not this one. I returned it.

I love this clock. I like the style and it appears to be well constructed. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my mother. Unfortunately, I am returning it - the alarm is too quiet for her to hear. This clock would be suitable for someone without any hearing issues.

This is an attractive clock but it is completely impossible to read the time in the dark, which makes the clock quite useless.

Nice-looking clock for bedside and SOOOOO much better than glowing digital numerals. That said, it's almost impossible to tell the time in the middle of the night, even with the glowing tips of clock hands. Can't tell the minute hand from the hour hand in the dark. And alas, no "snooze" function. Somewhat over-priced for the quality, but looks good.

This size was perfect for a bedside table in the guest room. The luminous dial is a nice feature, and the alarm feature a great convenience for our guests.
